    How much for solid ones?

How many springs are in each size ball?

If you're just after the one BG3000 already. They have it for 40 dollars. No need to spend 100 bucks just to save a few dollars. Don't get tricked by the marketing.

    • Buying 1 means an extra $12 in shipping though (for me at least)…

I think I've sampled these they are not so grippy when pumped at optimal psi (bounces back at elbow level but soft enough to grip) I recommend Wilson Jet Pro the blue white red color. They still retain that soft grip whilst still being bouncy and responsive, excellent game ball and just for shooting 3's… for weight it's in the light to mid zone so close to an official indoor game ball. You'll get a good year and some out of it if playing outdoors every week before leather wears and loses grip. If there was a 3 for $100 on these it's an easy shutup and take my money.

    • Thanks GoldAlwaysGold. Do you know if there is any difference in material/quality between the Wilson Jet Pro blue white and red versus the orange color? Or is it purely aesthetics?

I recently tried the blue white and red and agree it is a great outdoor ball. I also like the grip on the Tarmak BT500X but recognise it is on the lighter side.

There shouldn't be a difference both are composite leather but if you are serious about your hoop game bring a pump to Rebel and try it out. I recently bought the Wilson Forge Plus it had great grip and responsive bounce but I found it to be on the heavy side so more of a drill ball for your handles not so much for shooting 3's, with the Wilson Jet Pro if you stay consistent on your release for 3's it rewards you, sometimes it surprises me when I think it's not going in it actually does. But of course if I played indoor I'd grab the Wilson Evo NXT you already know the price by the way that ball feels.

        • Thanks for the insights, much appreciated.

  • Genuine question. OP, or 3 Wilson NBA Forge Plus for $100 delivered too?

      • Can't hide it now lol

Nice! but only size 7 left.

I have the Forge Plus they are on the heavy side not ideal if you are a shooter mid range or 3's you'll have to change up your release for more power, flat to the palm and higher release

      • Thanks for the heads up, I'll blame my air ball on the ball

  • If you are after size 6, this one is a good deal at $70 plus shipping.

Or also size 6 this for $55 pickup from rebel. You probably dont need the above tf-1000 for size 6.

    • Grade 8 boy in HPE, is that you?

  • This is a timely post! There was discourse on Twitter yesterday about how the price of basketballs in the US have hit $100USD each for casual brands.

    • Ha yeah, all those people hoarding basketballs because of FOMO.

  • Bought both the 3000 and 3200 around a month ago. Both started peeling and fading real quick though still usable. Emailed molten and they sent me new ones. Have yet to test them.

    • Can you share if you have used them only on timber flooring (indoors)? Or have you used them on concrete too?
