Higher refresh rate means you get better motion clarity in games where you can push out enough fps - as I mentioned, this is most relevant for esports games like CS2.
wrong, motion clarity depends on the refresh type. A lower refresh rate monitor can be more clear for motion.
Response rate too, but again raw hz does win but shitty panels like this can also cause latency
It's an AU Optronics panel, presumably the same one used in the much more expensive ASUS PG248QP.
@Shrew: I'm pretty sure the PG248QP uses an e-tn panel, whereas this one uses a tn panel. I think e-tn launched in 2023 and this pre-dates it, but not 100%
@maso: DisplaySpecifications suggests they both use the same AUO M241HTN01.2 panel.
I obviously have no way to verify that. Specs wise, the size, refresh rate, and maximum brightness are the same.

Agree, still bought one anyway. At the price of $0.44 per Hz I don't care if it's diminishing returns, this is an insane deal if you play games like CS2.

I can very easily tell the difference between 60, 144, and 240Hz. I guess I'll see soon if 540Hz is a noticeable upgrade.
