Get a pad with Handle bar for few extra $$, it's worth

      I second this!

Depends on your use case. If you're using it as a walking pad for a desk (which I'm currently doing!) then you'll have zero need for the handle.

This - depends on your use case. I have one with a handlebar, but it does not fit under my work desk, so it is pretty useless for my situation.

Handlebars on these are counter-productive and you'll burn less calories if that's your goal.

I bought a walking pad from Lifespan Fitness during COVID and use it almost every day. Max speed is 6 kmh, you can even do a light run on it. That's how I do.
Really happy with it. Easy to store and doesn’t take up much space. No complaints, it does the job. Takes a bit of getting used to not having handles, but you get used to it pretty quickly. Not sure about the one OP posted though

Walking outside is free and the true ozbargain way.

Outdoors fits under a desk beautifully, too

      • Nah you're multitasking all wrong IMO.

Walking outside is great for exercising your eye muscles as well

      Sunscreen isnt free

      • walk early or later on when the UV is less

My opinion? Just get one 2nd hand from marketplace. You can get them for $50-$100 and in most cases, they'll likely be seldom used because the person didn't stick with it.

I personally use mine daily and it's one of the best purchases I've ever made (cannot say the same for the exercise bike, just couldn't get into it).

    • Do you use it under your desk while working?

      • +1

Correct. Bought it 2nd hand and been using it daily for around a year now. Hasn't missed a beat.

        • What brand? I'll keep an eye out.

          • +3

@OzzyBrak: Advwin. Honestly, all the brands are more-or-less the same, and based on what I have, I've realised that speed/treadmill width really doesn't matter (at least for using it at a standing desk).

The main thing I'll look out for in future is a better remote as far as buttons and setup. The main friction is the just the number of steps/clicks to get the treadmill where you want it. Also maybe one that folds would be cool, but a nice-to-have.

    • I can't see any for <150 around Perth on marketplace.

      • Probably different in melbourne. I see one for $100 nearby.

With how hit and miss the quality and longevity can be on these things, it's a disservice to yourself to save the $20~$50 and not buy on Amazon.
The 'No Argument' and easy returns if something goes wrong pays for itself with these particular little machines.

  • how's the feedback on these after using for a few months?

    @realtight

    • Nah I didn't end up buying it
