Member when footing long sub was 7 bucks? member those times?

I stopped going to subway when they hit $14 for my footlong of choice. Better alternatives for the same price.

This is in no way a deal just a price rise. These days only way to get decent value off subway is to go via Uber eats when they run more than 30% off deals for Uber One members or go to handful of restaurants who still have $6 6inches

What's the normal price for a 6 inch?
Not saying it's good at all but don't get much for _
      $7 these days for lunch.

I remember when the breakfast footings were $5. Not very healthy but would hit the spot.

      • Min for 6inches used to be $6 now $7 but ranges much higher and I see a wider or more exotic varieties included in the $7 than $6. I'm sure you can't have your lunch sorted by just a 6inch though

        • that's fair and generally agree. a foot long is like eating a loaf of bread though, so you can't win haha

@G-Shock: For half size I recommend the wrap than a 6 inch as it packs bigger overall and less bread if you don't like. However a large wrap is smaller in size compared to a footlong. Wrap and sub prices are same

            • @Big-Deal: Cool no worries, good idea

              • +1

@G-Shock: Btw there's a buy 1 six inch get 1 free going on in doordash including pick up so that'd be much cheaper than this

  • +1

6 inch is way too small. You need to have at least 50% extra to be full. Rather eat KFC meal for $6.95 when on special in the app.

    • A foot long is a bit much as well, almost 1000 cal for most types.
Just make your own lunch, most stuff is a rip these days, especially sushi.

Support the Viet bakery for a BanhMi

    • Yep, would much prefer to buy a Banh Mi at an independent store than spend my money at Subway.

      • Yeah or a burrito (I could eat those every day). Looking at about $13 at least these days..

  • My two local Subways are owned by the same guy and he's an absolute tightarse. He never participates in these deals.

    • These are not deals just standard pricing across almost every store. Don't think stores can opt out

      • T&Cs state deals available at "participating stores." I interpret that as some aren't taking part.

        • That may be the stores like the airport ones which have to be more expensive but I'd say this is across at least 90% of the stores unlike their 'deals' which are much lesser

Popped in to get this today, showed them at the start and they acknowledged. Then at the till they said $16.40, when I asked they said in this restaurant we do the $16.40 deal.

Then they’re annoyed when I walk out.
Anytime I try and let subway redeem itself, it’s crappy cake bread and fake deals.

    • i wonder if you scan the card whether it's automatically applied or they have to manually .

  • Am I doing something wrong or does this promotion never work? It never says $10 at the end of the order

    • store-dependent? last time my local was full price, but the 2nd store worked

      • this was in a shopping centre food court where 10 meters away from the Subway was a screen displaying an ad about this promotion, so I think so, but I guess nothing about the ad confirmed it.
