I was after a decent, inexpensive 4K monitor with high refresh rate. First impression is ok, I use it mostly for office tasks and occasional gaming.
I'm not sure how this monitor rates in the world of modern gaming, but at this price it looks good compared with my old Dell S2721QS.

  hmm confused, shall I go after better resolution or frame rates?
  was thinking around 280Hz with 27" 2k would be good

    I started using 4K a few years ago. Now I just can't settle for 2K, it looks fuzzy to me. This is the first monitor I've ever had with refresh rate higher than 60Hz and it does feel smoother and easier on the eyes. From the quick research, it seems that anything over 120Hz is diminishing value.
