Mate should have asked, I have like 60 of them lol. VMU's that is.

That's not including the new in the box ones I have.

    stock is very unpredictable

if you have a popular reject shop like say parra westfields then these are harder to find

if you have a reject shop that is is in a dingy mall then you have a better chance of finding stock

pretty much all my cars and garage door remotes and everything runs off 2032 with some 25s

    • Same for my car key fob, apple tv and chromecast remotes, too.

My local post office closed a few months ago, I scored a pack for $2 on clearance \o/

    • 1632s here

  • I picked up the variety pack a few weeks back. Seemed like a good deal as well.

these work well? used to buy at $2 shops, but they don't last anywhere as long as ones from normal shops.

eBay for panasonic's are good 5 pack for $6.80 from KJTek. Appear to be legit. Can't even buy from AliExpress for that.

I can confirm that they work quite decently well.

I also used to purchase them from $2 shops and ebay. My medical devices that ran on these button cells always gave me the shits. Either they'd keep giving out the low battery alert - in spite of continuing to work, or a brand new set of batteries would trigger the same low battery alert. I wish it was as simple as user error, but I had already reset the battery states in the devices before hand.

Anyway, TLDR, ever since I've switched to these Toshibas from the reject, I've had no issues.

The comfortably last 12-14 months without the annoying low battery alert (until they're almost dead) and the 12-14 months is pretty much in line with the manufacturer stated was the estimated life of a fresh set of button cells.

  • Bought one of these the other day. Seems to work fine, but who knows what sort of longevity. Made in China, unlike the Maxell's which are made in Japan - but they're also more than half the price.

    • Strange wording. Do you actually mean less than half price?

      • less cheaper lol

I convert some things that rarely move to 2 x aaa rechargeables example only, Motion, Temp Sensors etc. I use a 2xAAA holder and solder the wires in place. Can still be used using CR20XX if ever needed. Obviously only useful for certain things.

    • I go all out with some R20 batteries.

Haha….that would certainly be certainly going all out. Might as well grab a "Car Battery" with a LM2576 buck convertor (joking). :-)

  • Do they have Polaroid in cr1620?

  • always struggled to find these batteries at a good price
