How to check if it eligible
9060XT is not an eligible model for that, neither at Centre Com
they are exact same card. Not sure why you say centrecom deal is better.
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/953502
They says so cause centrecom is a listed retailer for the free game promo.
What's the difference?
Centrecom charges a 1.2%+ fee for some payment types e.g., credit card.
9070 xt gets free crimson desert
My bad, thought it was for both the 9060 series as well.
also 3% cashback from topcashback
not when using coupon
sorry, that's true. I probably forgot because I wouldn't use a coupon.. better to pay full price , get 3%, and then use price protection 28degrees to match the lowest
Great first post. Looks like we're starting to see a spate of price drops on the 9060 XT. Any GPU guru's know how this XFX "OC" card compares to the PowerColor Reaper Radeon RX 9060 XT as per last week's deal at www.ozbargain.com.au/node/952503 ?
According to the ChatGPT imaginarium - citing 3320Mhz vs 3230Mhz base clocks, 180w vs 160w draw and a supposed third fan (?) on the XFX,
🧠 Bottom line
Performance: XFX wins (slightly)
Efficiency & noise: Reaper wins
Value: Usually similar → depends on price
👉 If they’re the same price:
Performance gamer → XFX
Quiet/compact build → Reaper
I believe this particular XFX has two fans. There is a 3 fan model that costs more though.
thanks and yes, first time post.
I want upgrade from 6600xt OC to 9060xt OC to pair with my 5600 CPU(don't want spend too much).
major play delta force.
Hope no issue.
Wouldn't think so.
I got mine to go with a 5700X after my online searches nominated it as a near-perfect match. Cheers…
Exceedingly positive review of this model here: www.thefpsreview.com/2025/06/04/xfx-swift-amd-radeon-rx-9060…
Could you put a couple of these in crossfire?
I don't think crossfire is a thing anymore. A single 9070 XT would be way faster anyway for cheaper.
Thanks! Picked this one up after resisting last weeks. But I've got some 32gb Corsair Vengeance DDR5 that I got cheap in October that needs to be finally used.
Hmm why would you pair high performance 32gb system memory with a lower / mid tier gfx card?
Normally wouldn't reply to obnoxious opinionated comments, but what the heck. It'll do fine getting me stable 1440p. I'm too old to care about a minor % difference and honestly so are you. This comment was beneath you. Incase it's still not clear to you: budgets exist. I got the ram cheap. Don't really know what you want me to do. Not use the ram for another 6 months? Stupid pointless comment. Goodbye.
It was more of a general point about balance, not your specifics. I prioritise overall balance over small % gains. Enjoy your build
Was gonna say “this or PS5 Pro?”, but then the price was announced to go up $200 more and now this is definitely a better buy to pair with Zen 3.
Good if eligible for Crimson Desert, otherwise CentreCom deal is better.
