Been looks to pick up a new part of boots, and Anaconda is currently having a 30% sale on Merrell Footware.

I got a sick deal on a Columbia jacket today price beating with Anaconda. Got it from the 30% off at $175 to $135. Almost 50% off.
Nice… Anaconda is great, I love them, but with their high RRP's you have to play their game and do things like this, or use their ~18% discounted gift cards combined with sale prices, and such, to get real decent deals out of them…
I didn't know about that discount cards, that would be a real bargain. The $250 RRP was definitely too much. I think the Helly Hansen jacket for $230 was better but had no discount and I couldn't find something to price beat. Note for anyone not aware, they will not price beat Amazon so you have to find it from online retailer with a brick and mortar store incl. postage and correct size.
@Budju: In the past they offered a gift-card deal 3 or 4 times per year, easter, fathers day, xmas, and such: buy a $100 gift card & receive a $20 card as a bonus… Last year they only offered it a couple of times…
I spend a bit with them so I always buy $300 (=$360) worth of gift cards when they run those deals, if I have a big purchase in mind like a sounder or electric trolling motor I'll buy $600 worth (=$720) of cards, then wait for a sale to use them… It's the icing on the cake for a good deal, lol
