[VIC] Annual Pass $99 @ Gumbaya World

480

Annual pass is heavily discounted. Unlimited Entry for a whole year. Not sure for how long. Best price I've seen in the last year. Perfect for school holidays as long as you dont have a diesel car

park has animals, rides/rollercoasters and a water park (like a budget QLD theme park)

normal prices:

  • $215 for General Admission (120cm+)
  • $165 for Juniors (90cm - 120cm)
  • $165 for Seniors (60yo+)
  • FREE for Tots (Under 90cm)

They've been hitting me with ads lately too, nearly bit the bullet with the $45 holidays pass thing, saw this one earlier, nearly bit the bullet again until I saw how little things are on during the second half of April and then May. And not being open on Monday and Tuesday altogether bummed me out since every second Monday I go past Gumbuya and that would have more than likely been the most frequented time for us. Bummer.

Pretty fun, food is so-so, waterpark and 'zoo' quite good and seem cared for, themepark not really my thing so can't comment. Great value even once for $99.

Even once? Day ticket is $70 isn't it?

      • Thought it was over $100? I might be mistaken, whenever I've gone it's paid for by work anyway.

          Hmmmnn… Sounds like you username

  • Something wrong with their site?

I thought I'd have a look at normal pricing, booking days etc.
Only available dates for the next 6mths: today (now closed), tomorrow… 12th April. All others blocked

The amusement park side is pretty bare bones in terms of rides, little kids would rather play in the giant playground near the cafeteria.

The water park and zoo are really good for the kiddies though, especially the lazy river and the playground with the giant bucket.

just remember the lazy river is not heated so its better on warm days

$99 Annual Pass for 1 person, correct? What about my wife and kids? 😅

  • If you already have a membership that expires 30 June, is there a way to extend the membership rather than it take effect from date of purchase?

    • i tried to future date it but it doesnt work

    • Tried selecting future date and it says valid from the future date to +1 year so… maybe you can?

Oops, too bad. I have a diesel car :(

    • yea sad reality!

    • Yes same are we excluded if we got diesel lol

  • probably wait for the black Friday Sale, perfect for summer!

    • What was the deal?

This is amazing value and I would purchase immediately if it wasn’t for the fuel prices. I’m still tempted…

This would be amazing during summer holidays when entry prices are over $70 per person for the water park.

    • I've got family friends that swear by it.
Dunno what to do each school holidays? Go to Gumbuya
Kids stir crazy? Go to Gumbuya
Kids being good? Go to Gumbuya
Kids being brats? Go to Gumbuya

      They don’t check tbh

  • Will the go under in the next 12 months?

    • They are doing very well financially

      • Petrol prices gonna hurt though

  • Would you rate this better than Wobbies World?

    • +1

Possibly a hair better than Walley World

  • I found the 80s Wobbies World ad on YouTube, I'm sure there was an equally cheesy one for Gumbaya Park (it definitely wasn't called World bean then) but no luck finding it. Kinda of amazed it still exists. A bit like Magic Mountain in NSW.

    • We couldn't pass it without our Dad saying "Ya know, ya grandad painted that".. Yes Dad. Thanks for reminding us dad.
