96x Tablets Ibuprovance 256mg + [Short Dated] Bonus Item $14.99 Delivered @ PharmacySavings

380

Hi Ozbargainers,

Quite a few requests for us to source a generic alternative to Nurofen Zavance (Ibuprofen sodium dihydrate 256mg), I thought we'd give the Ibuprovance alternate a go, we do stock this product from time to time, but due the lower price of regular ibuprofen, its not always a huge seller, anyway I have around 50-60 boxes in stock so thought I would it a go for sub $15 delivered tonight, I have searched around online and I think $14.99 delivered for 96x tabs is the best price for this item around, plus we still have a few short dated antihistamines in stock if anyone is interested you can add one as a bonus item - (select from the drop down box on the listing page).

If you're interested you can select a free box of either: 10x Cetirizine 10mg, or 10x Loratadine 10mg (Both Exp: End May 2026), use the drop down menu in the listing to make your selection, if you don't want one of the bonus items, select no bonus item and pay it forward for another Ozbargainer.

  • Hi Jason
Do you have any film coated paracetamol?

    • Sorry only in store - we used to carry it online, but its just not possible any more due to the supply rules (ie selling a box of 20 tabs isn't viable online and 100tabs requires a consult/discussion which for a $1-2 margin just isn't feasible)

      • No worries then, thanks for the response

  • Is it ok to take short dated ones for years?

      • Wow…

      • Lol!

The OzBargain wowsers won’t like that at their Hurmourless Society Congress…

        • I better wind it back a notch, apologies, i'm watching https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nRj65O5RTnc while packing orders …. probably not a good idea

          • @jason101: More’s the pity.

Far too many folk taking life - and themselves - too seriously…

            • @UncleRico: Yeah paedophilia-based jokes just are so hilarious and witty…and anyone who doesn't agree is a "wowser". /s

              • @Jezah: Not anyone - just wowsers. I get the modern stance on humour - it can only punch up, never down - but I'm still reasonably confident that most people over the age of 20 understand that a joke and paedophilia are two different things.

Certainly not worth losing any sleep over - not when there's so many stupid Irishmen to disavow before I go and chase off whoever keeps knock knocking at my door…

    • Just do what I do and take them all at once, I haven't had a headache for years.

      • Sent from my Samsung Coffin

    • Probably yes
      https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC7040264/

What they found from the study is 90% of more than 100 drugs, both prescription and over-the-counter, were perfectly good to use even 15 years after the expiration date.

Hence, the expiration date doesn't really indicate a point at which the medication is no longer effective or has become unsafe to use.

      • Thanks, my wife will throw out over-the-counter a few weeks after expiration date claiming it won't work any more.

I argument if it's perfectly good for 18 months, it's not going to be useless at 19 months, so thanks for the evidence.

  • Thanks, got a pack
