And an extra $5 for this that haven't used their voucher for the month.

I remember getting these $5 vouchers when I first started with an eBay plus subscription but I haven't seen one for over a year. Are they hidden sonewhere in the app?

        • +1

Any available vouchers will be shown at the top of your My eBay Summary page https://www.ebay.com.au/mye/myebay/summary

@lordezekiel: thanks for that. Seems like the phone app doesn't show the vouchers. I'll check for voucher on PC from now on. I just noticed a $20 off $50 spend voucher just now!

            • @JackedBargain: Can you spend the voucher on Anything in the EB Store? Does the vouchers make an EB Plus membership worthwhile?

              • @strongman: Your mixing up EB plus with EBay plus, two seperate memberships, the EBay one gives you the vouchers.

              • @strongman: I didn't check everything but I was able to apply the $5 voucher to any of the games I wanted. The membership is $60 so if you can manage spending the $5 voucher every month, it pays for itself. Plus whenever I go to cancel my membership the reel me back in by giving my a $30 voucher if I stay (but you have to use that voucher within 30 days of issue and they only issue it up to 30 days after paying a new subscription of ebay Plus)

    • Thanks, ordered!

Great price thanks. Very hard to stomach paying over $100 for a game

Doesn’t it retail around the $89 mark?

      • +4

Oh maybe in other stores? EB Games has it marked down from $109.95 but that might be an inflated price.

        • +3

The standard price they put down is the digital RRP, but other store may have it at a cheaper RRP.

EB Games sell preowned games for more than brand new games lol

    • i paid full price when kirby air rider and mario tennis fever were out, and i can barely find online players since day 1.
i think all the nintendo sw2 games will go down to this price tag after few months, lesson learnt

Limited stock in Officeworks stores, but worth checking for 5% price beat there if you can.

Ironically, their website says, "Price checked, price dropped", $89! lol

    • Thanks for the tip. One of my local OfficeWorks stores has both of the games so hopefully they will still have both games tomorrow.

  • Thanks, needed a new game.

Game itself is a bit weird. I found it a bit confusing and overwhelming more than enjoyable.

  • How significant is race mode? I don't think I would like city trial or top down racing

    • Not very unfortunately. The tracks look very nice and I enjoyed the quirky style of play but the single player experience is almost non-existent. There is barely any incentive to win a race. I got bored after about an hour. If it had a proper single player campaign (like say probably my favourite Nintendo racer, Diddy Kong Racer), this could have been one of my favourite Switch 2 games so far but I don't find it much fun to race single tracks more than once with nothing to unlock or any rewards.

  • Thanks, got Air Riders and Hyrule Warriors price-beat at Officeworks, can't see this price getting much better for first-party Nintendo games…

    • I had asked "At Officeworks, are Switch 2 games online only so do you have to ring Officeworks up to get the 5% price-match guarantee?" but I have played around on the OfficeWorks website and you can set your store and it shows if the game is available in store. I have to remember to do this for all games that Officeworks stock for Target and Big W offers but I'm assuming those ones Officeworks have their "Price Checked. Price Dropped" badges on already.
