Be careful with those prepaid visas. They expire sooner than you'd think, making your "free" drink into a full price purchase.

    • +5

considering its first 600 in wins
Its basically a lottery, if i buy today I have a 50/50 chance of being in the first 600

      • +1

When I posted last year, half were claimed in the 1st 4 days so if you do it within the next few days you'll be fine and some were claiming up to the last day. That said, contact them, they reply very quickly and will tell you if claims are still open.

  • Are these any good?

    • +12

Only if you are in 600

    • +1

It's just lemon, soda and vodka (and shochu, which isn't that much different to vodka but it's a big thing in Japan, there's not enough in these to make any kind of flavour difference). Goes down well on a hot day, it's not sickly sweet like a vodka cruiser, priced in the same boat as all those kind of seltzers.

If you like vodka, soda and lemon you'll probably be fine with this.

    • +1

      I don’t mind it
      Not my first choice tho

    • One of my go to's. Very bubbly. Idk wtf Shochu is but it seems to add "something" that I like

I just e-mailed the Suntory promo team about this at 2:24pm and I got a response at 2:37pm - I'm impressed.

"There are approximately 500 cashback claims remaining as of now."

    Good luck, punters :)

Guess I'm stopping by after work

        Ozbargain meetup?

        • Ozbargains choice for BYO at the next meet up 😂

    • as of 2 min ago take one more off that total thanks to me!!

    • Using the form linked here? Or a different email?

    • What email address did you use.I googled the promo teams address and it says the business permanently closed.

  • Boo no SA

    • +1

You can buy from Cellarbrations in SA.

      • -1

The Bottle-O store located in Australia (excluding SA)

        • +1

          Yes Bottle-O, not Cellarbrations!

  • +1

$29 a 4 pack at local IGA. Bought and submitted claim.

  • +1

Local IGA in Rowville already had it on special for $18 for the OG lemon 4 pack, so even if it doesn't claim still a decent deal

    • Make sure it's the 330mL pack, not the 250mL pack, or you will bw 80mLx4=320mL worse off lol.

      • The 250ml is 9% rather than 6%

    • I am having issues with date of birth

      • +2

as in just realising how old you now are?

        • Maybe I am guessing it wrong as the form won't accept it.

    • +1

Not postcode, but birthday. It looks like they want dd/mm/yyyy but the picker puts in dd-mm-yyyy with no ability to manually edit it.

      • +3

Managed to submit, ask gemini how to thinker with the console. and then:

        // 1. Force the value
        document.getElementById('dob').value = "25/06/1988";

// 2. Wipe the validator's "error" memory for this form
        $("#newsletterForm").validate().resetForm();

// 3. Force the form to submit regardless of what it thinks
        document.getElementById('newsletterForm').submit();

        • +1

This worked a dream, cheers mate.

        • Thanks. This worked last night and I just got an approval email.

    • Yep, does not work

  • Submitted.
Hopefully the new lemon and passionfruit is good

    • Spoilers; its like OG lemon mixed with no sugar passiona, if you like the sound of it you'll love it

      • Had one with dinner, confirmed yum

    • What browser did you use?

      • Chrome

  • Anyone know if Matthews Liquor is part of Bottle-O?

    • That will be fine.

  • -4

Only way I'd ever buy these. They're so disgusting.

  • +1

Does IGA Xpress qualify for this promotion?

    • Emailed them and they confirmed that it does

  • I bought the drinks from IGA liquor and put in a claim yesterday evening. However, I haven't received any email from the admin :(

    • +1

      Mine was in spam!

  • Just got mine approved :) Nothing like free booze and a loong weekend ❣️

    • When did you send in your receipt?

      • +1

        Round 5pm yesterday

  • Took 17 mins for a reply.

As of 10:15 AEDT there were still approx 300 redemptions remaining.

  • My claim went through - meant to receive the gift card in 5 days.

  • +1

Got an email saying my redemption was confirmed. Bought & submitted yesterday around 5:30PM

  • Probably a gamble now.. but just purchased and submitted.

    • Likewise

Edit: got approved about 1hr after I submitted

      • +1

Same here, A little over an hour. Great deal, very smooth process. Enjoy the bevs

  • Im still having the same issue, form is not accepting any input to the birth date. Anyone else getting the same error?

    • Choose a different DOB over 18. I doubt there’s any verification.

  • Bad promo, lodged yesterday receipt got rejected and can’t reply to the email.. and can’t resubmit because mobile number has been used.. terrible system..

    • why were you rejected?

    • There’s a contact form linked here. Have the 600 redemptions been claimed?

      • Email received today at 9.14am said that there were still gift cards available but they didn't specify how many. Would be very risky to go and buy now

  • +1

Anyone submit from Saturday onwards and been approved? Was assuming just a delay because of Easter long weekend but still no email received after I submitted on Saturday morning.

    • Email says 5 business days..

      • I mean the confirmation email, I still haven't even received this after submitting the claim (and yes I've checked spam).

        • Likely had a lot of backlog over the break. Should come through tomorrow otherwise could follow them up

          • +1

@nicholasv: Validation email finally came through a few hours ago (was approved), now the wait for the actual gift card.

  • Too risky to buy and claim today?

    • Probably stretching it now. You can fill out the form and ask how many claims are left, but unsure whether the number of claims that they tell you includes any claims which are processing (i.e. Those which are submitted but not validated yet)

  • I have received my Prepaid Visa Card!

    • Same

    • Same. Received an SMS with a link. Very easy to add to Apple Wallet.

  • Received gift card - expires in a year so plenty of time. Great deal, thanks OP.

  • Received gc

  • GC received and added to Apple wallet

    • How long ago did you buy it?

      • +1

        1/4

  • Just got told there are still redemptions left, though they wouldn't say how many.

No idea why they would be this secretive about the promotion, incredibly weird behavior.

    • Quite deceptive too if you were unlucky to purchase and then get knocked back, maybe they would still honour it.

Probably turn website off once limit reached

      • An hour after posting on Oz Bargain there was confirmed only 500 left, a week later and 1600 clicks on the deal from OzBargain alone it wouldn't suprise me if more than 600 have actually been redeemed but they are still accepting claims.
They want to keep the (false?) sense of urgency without people going "oh there are only 30 left, I won't bother now in case they are all gone before I can submit".
When they hit their "real" limit (or the promo end date), then they will turn it off.

        • Yeh I feel that they wouldn't deny your claim if you were the 601st. Would look pretty bad on their part, so instead they'll probably just stop accepting claims.

Also looked at the old deals on OzB which had this same format (Suntory, 600 claims), and there were no users who complained about being denied after the 600 were exhausted.

        • +1

I should mention I've also gotten ads for this on Facebook and had a mate send me their ad that he saw on Instagram, so I can only assume there are even more eyes on this.

But I mean like I said they've told me 2 hours ago that there are still redemptions left, you can send them an email yourself if you wish and worst case scenario you can probably return the 4 pack since you (should) have the receipt anyway.

  • +1

No reply from them so far today but I risked it and grabbed a pack

Just got a reply - sounds like they'll shut down the site when all claims are received.

    • Approved already

      • did they give any indication of how many claims are left?

        • They just indicated that the website would be closed when all the claims are redeemed

          • @theguyrules: cheers. it seems the site has closed and isn't accepting anymore claims. I submitted two claims yesterday arvo at around 4pm while the site was still up, hope it goes through.

            • @theadeptus: Have you received your voucher yet? I am yet to receive mine

              • @bargain_knight: Still nothing here either, see my comment below. When did you receive the validation email? Or you haven't even received that yet?

                • @MiscOzB: same as you, i haven't gotten my voucher yet. been a while.

  • +2

Has anyone received the gift card yet since they closed the promo? Still nothing here, has now been 5 business days since I received the validation email.

    • I applied late afternoon on Saturday 11th but I haven’t received anything, not even a validation email :/

      • +1

I also submitted on Saturday and there has been no response nor a validation email.

My wife submitted a claim on Friday. She received a validation email on Saturday, but nothing further.

        • i haven't gotten mine either. i submitted two on saturday.

        • have you gotten any response or validation for your saturday claim yet? I have not.

    • Everyone got their gift cards earlier at the same time - so likely that they issue them as a batch. I would say that after all claims are validated as there are none pending, then they will do a bulk order for remaining gift cards needed and issue them

      • -1

how do you know there are none pending validation anymore? i am still waiting on validation for mine.

        • Don't know that there are none pending validation, but assume so as some who have been validated haven't received their gift card.

Gut feel is that they won't issue everyone else's gift cards until all the other claims are validated

  • +1

Just got my Saturday claim approved. Looks like they'll all be paid.

  • I am still waiting for my gift card from the 10th of April.

    • Same. Still waiting for the gift card

  • Updating to share that I got mine as well, submitted late afternoon on Saturday 11th
