  • BoM too

  • Shame it’s $3 or more. For the westpac one last year I bought about 15 mandarins , one by one

    • Do you use Amazon much? During the recent similar Westpac promo I just bought 30 × $3 Amazon gift cards and loaded them into my account. Yes it was laborious but I would have just been doomscrolling anyway.

      • Very smart option an a great discount on those gift cards ! I’m surprised Amazon didn’t try and block you fo suspected fraud !

        • I bought the first 11 via ShopBack for additional savings, before ShopBack suddenly decided I"d exceeded the allowable quota. Then I bought the rest directly via Amazon. Did it over 3 days as I was also wary of the card getting blocked for fraud after having issues with purchases of high value gift cards during Prime Day promos.

      • Can you buy Amazon gift card for this st George promo?

    • Or could have bought a single item via 15 split payments at the self-checkout.

  • Good on you for posting. I read the email yesterday but was not sure I'd bother given the 30 x $3 transaction requirement

But the Ozbargain spirit urged me to check if anyone had posted and now I might have a go given the comments above about online purchases of $3 counting.

I couldn't picture myself going around the shops tapping $3 a go.

    • That was also my thoughts. Was it really worth it? But itll be $50 off $90 so over 50% off. Just a bit of effort over the whole month.

    • Multiple split payments at self service checkouts. $10 gets you 3 towards the 30 for example.

  • Didn’t get this or for BoM, but got fit BSA

  • Can i make 30 ATO payments of $3?

    • arent they bpay? if they are then read the exclusions.

      • I use a debit Mastercard with no fee for ato payments

  • Didn't get this offer nor did 2 of my family members using StGeorge.

  • Is that 30 transactions of $3 on your utility bills

  • Is this offer come with email or APP?

    • Email subject line:-

      • Apparently I am not targeted….

  • "payments made with gift card".

If you need to make a purchase with your card, how do you pay with gift cards?

  • hmm my offer was for a lowly 15 purchases…..ahh good to see St.George views me as extra special ;)

"Make 15 eligible purchases using your St.George Visa debit card linked to your Complete Freedom account ending in ####, between 1 and 30 April, and you could pocket a crisp $50.* "

    • The kingdom of heaven is truly yours 🙏

  • Alright gang - what’s the most efficient way to do this?

    • woolworths grocery

    • Found another easy way. Afterpay lets you make custom payments. $3 per transaction with 6 actual clicks.

      • That works? The terms above says you can't use Paypal so I thought Afterpay might be the same?

        • I think the issue is PayPal ‘transactions’ could simply be sending money to friends, whereas Afterpay is always a transaction.

    • How about payments to revolut?

      • hey, did you try it? did revolut transactions count towards the requirement?

    • Depends on what you consider to be efficient. Split payments at supermarket self-checkout is an option, whether all in one hit or spread out over a few.

The following do not qualify as Eligible Purchases: ATM withdrawals, cash-out only transactions, cash equivalent transactions (e.g. money orders), money transfers, gambling transactions, payments made using gift cards, payments made through BPAY, and PayPal transactions.

Post Billpay is not specifically excluded, which provides more options.

      • I'm using Zip so hopefully it works because it's super easy to do.

    • I'm buying $3-$5 Amazon/Super swap gift cards on Shopback, over the period of a few days.

  • Anyone get their $50 yet

    • If the T&Cs say by 31 May then expect it very close to 31 May.

    • Not yet

  • Anyone get their $50 yet?

    • No. I got the offer on my BoM card.

  • Got mine,

    • Me too.

I'm glad there were no issues with postbillpay and I didn't have to fight them for it.

    • Me too. Received yesterday (26th)

    • Get mine too. $50 today.

  • Got mine, now Westpac has a similar promotion but for $30… to bother or not bother.

    • Did you receive an email offer from them?

Nothing for me, but I would for $30.

      Edit - saw your post.
