C8k for some reason is not going down. I bought 98 inch for 4k but it hasn't been delivered so hoping to find a better deal to then price match.
looked at SA for 65in c8k and seems to be only two stores with stock. hence maybe they don't bother clearing them, knowing they will sell anyway.
Any more details to share (e.g. company, receipt…). That sounds like a great price for the C8K.
how/where did you manage that? a month or so ago my attempts at getting a similar price on live chat didn't get me anywhere
i'd also love to know - $2200 is a great price - a month ago 85" C8K was about $2700 (internet listings) and today they are $2800 - i got mine for $2500 a month ago with a haggle at VideoPro

From JB hi Fi…went to store and spoke to the salesman. Told him that this TV sold for around $2,000 during black friday sales etc. He spoke to someone and came back with his best offer of $2,260, which I accepted.
Also was offered 85" C7K for $1,820 delivered

To be honest i was quite surprised as in the last week or so i already tried Jb and TGG online chat multiple times and even went to a couple of stores without any luck.
I finalised the C7K for $1,820 but when i went to pay the next day (with gift cards), i just thought of asking about C8K instead and was offered $2,260
Anyone have any luck Jb won’t match and good guys etc won’t price match the $2200

@bluephonebox: Was able to get 1749 including delivery from tgg for the 75c8k.
Priced matched from videopro and gave them the tgg 15% off voucher.
After much deliberation and dawdling at the checkout page, I ended up getting the C8K 65 inch for $1555 shipped. HN were offering 10% of the amount in gift cards also which wasn't the case this afternoon.
Guys just a heads up if you carry it overseas on the plane you can get the 10% GST back through TRS

Got a 85" C8K for $2,260 delivered yesterday without any coupons etc
