  • Would you recommend these for android and windows? I have an iPad but it's not my main device.

My refurbished Sony WF-1000XM5 case battery has unfortunately died and doesn't hold charge, so I can only pass through charge.

    • I use Airpod Pro 2's on my windows laptop for teams every day. They are comfortable, and i dont get any complaints about people not being able to hear me.

On Android you could try LibrePods to get most features from them, as for Windows its 50/50 on how much you can configure depending on your setup

Check Librepods - it's a project to bring most of he AirPods features to Android. However you need to have a recent'ish Android OS version (16 QPR3 or 17) to run it without root

  • Good deal, I just wish it was earlier this week. I ended up buying from Koags

I’ve upgraded from AirPods Pro 1 which I purchased in 2019 or 2020 because of this price.
It’s noise cancellation and transparency stopped working coz it got wet and dropped and slammed a fair few times.
I can say that the upgrade to AirPods Pro 3 is better in every way. Noise cancellation (will take on plane in a couple weeks) is good, transparency very good. But I’m really impressed by the adaptive speech recognition. It’s great and I am surprised I’m actually going to use this often.
    Sound is better. Bassier
Fit is better. I have big gigantic ears I think.

  • Got a set of these recently. The noise cancelling is top tier, and mostly use them for podcasts/youtube. Audio quality for music is okay, but I wasn't expecting much.

  • Lots of these on eBay for about $150. Are they fake?

    • +10

      Most likely, yes

According to Apple: Less $ spent on them IS MORE for you ;) I'm extra happy that I don't depend on any iMarketing ;(

    • +1

They definitely are. AirPods are so well faked, the only safe way to buy them is from Apple or a reputable 3rd party like JB.

    This or buds 4 pro

if you're in the apple ecosystem definitely get airpods

    Amazon has matched at $329

  • I have these and they have a high pitch chirping noise.
Took them to Apple who acknowledged it and said it’s a part of their ANC, but it hurts my ears and is annoying. No replacements providers, 2 months old. Wouldn’t recommend

    • Try going back and trying again with another staff member?

The last sentence of this support article states it requires a service.

    • The 3rd gen? That was a common issue on the first gen and yes it’s definitely not normal. I had my first gens replaced twice by Apple.

      • Happened with my first gen after 3 years, wasn't covered by apple, got 3rd gen and happened again within 2 months but way worse

  • Amazon same price https://amzn.asia/d/0cUEB1fK

5x FlyBuys with OnePass = 1645 points. Worth $8.22 off a future shop.

    Same price at Costco

    • +1

Actually isn’t. Costco is 98 cents more!!

      • Sorry, my bad!

  • any cheaper one so I can price beat at ow

  • they need to make a tighter fitting pro. ANC is great but passive is even better and these just sit in and you have to push the silicon against your ear
