    The numerous reviews stating one of the earbuds was not working are a genuine concern:
    * "Right earbud didnt work"
    * "Right ear stopped working"
    * "Left earbud stop working within a month"
    * "Right side faulty"

      yeh, i did see that but didn't think of mentioning it because the reviews from 2021 to 2022, the recent reviews seem to be all 5 star. But yeh, not sure how the warranty would work when it's shipped from JP. wonder if anyone else have had an experience with needing a warranty when bought from Amazon JP or another overseas store?

      I've had two of these, recently bought the 2nd set from the last deal. The first one had this issue, from my research people suggest it's the cable, rubbish mmcx connector on it likely.

      I recommend Openheart MMCX cable suitable for Sennheiser from Aliexpress. I've been using mine with that, not only does it feel more solid than the stock cable (the stock earhook sucks), It's also had no issue for the past month or so I've had it so far. and it's my daily beater at the desk, sometimes wear it to sleep too.

      These are probably one of if not most comfortable IEM to wear, lightweight, small profile, doesn't stuck out much from your ear, if you like to lay on your side and listen to music/shows before bed, these are great.

      Sound wise they lean towards a bassier set, very decent quality sound.

        I think fitment is the only reason I'd spend extra these days on an iem given how good chifi stuff has gotten.

        I have the moondrop Chu (1), 7hz Harmon whatever they are with the dipswitch. Moondrops are significantly more comfortable despite preferring the latter in sound.. But if the fitment isn't good it doesn't matter.

        I have oldschool Shure se215s and se535s but the sound signatures these days feel.. Muddled almost. Or boring. But damn, they're still the most comfortable iems I've ever used, wired or wireless (also have like 4 wireless buds, pixel bud pros, ankers, edifier neo buds etc). But nothing beats out my old Shures with some comply foam tips in comfort..

        Your review has me tempted to scrap a bunch of iems and just get one set but.. I also have all these still so may as well use em til they die ha.

          I would echo this- it's worth looking at ChiFi options at this price point (or really, any price point). Also an owner of SE535s which I paid a lot for 'back in the day'. It is incredible what you can get for sub-$100 off AliExpress these days. You can even load up on tips to try perfect the fit. The $40 Linsoul 7Hz x Crinacle Zero:2 are worth a look.

          • @jbj123: Ha, yessss. I spent probably the same amount I paid for the 535s (399 back then) on tips and replacement cables too (stupid Shure cables kinda sucked tbh.. And were expensive). All pre AE cables. Actually the best cable I sitll have now I barely remember the brand, wasn't from a fancy store etc and it was 50-60 back then and has worked perfectly since.

            I did see those Linsoul ones. The housing makes me think I'll dislike the fit tbh. Doesn't help left ear needs a smaller fitment than my right. Not just the tip but the actual area the iem needs to sit is smaller? Than my right.

          Fitment is king 100%, for my daily beater usage that and comfort are the two most important qualities, durability would be next. Sound comes after, as long as it is decent, that's all i need. I usually swap out to other IEM for more intense listening or gaming.

          The good thing about the IE300 is that because it's quite small, it's likely going to work for most people. However I did find the IE300 might be a bit picky with tips, for example not using their stock actually didn't really work for me. I've tried the Divinus Velvet tips and I think one of my favourite Spinfit W1s and neither seem to really work. Stock tips works fine for me so i didn't bother further tip rolling.

      • Meh, I'd rather support a company that tests has QC and doesn't make trash cables.

      • would you use a lapel mic (i have a very old zalman zm-mic1 that works well on my headphones)? how do people most use IEMs and voice comms? i really hate the idea of a microphone on my desk

        • You can try one of those cables that has an inline mic if you want the least amount of cables (but probably the worst quality). From my own experience, I've gone through lapel, modmic, all kinds of different set up and ultimately settled with a proper microphone on a mic arm.

    • Its most likely cable failure, MMCX is a rubbish connector imo no matter the quality.
      That being said, cable failure is not … uncommon … on IEMs, and you can get replacement cables.

  • How are these for gaming purpose only? I play fps games only, currently rocking moondrop aria snows for iems

    • I havent tried the aria yet but I think they'd be better than the ie300. When I tried them they were actually really disappointingin every way, especially while right next to iems half the price (artti t10 and truthear zero red).

    The thumbnail picture made me think it's a vacuum cleaner at first

      Not sure how you see this?

  • Switch to your Prime Business account and it may be even cheaper.

    It was A$166.27 for me.

    • I still see $182.90 in business account….

      • Not sure then, I think GST wasn’t charged for some reason?

  • Same just setup a buisness account

  • If you like bass. These are not for you.

  • Was one of my fav brand for personal audio gear.

    Once again looking like it will be sold off.

    Sonova is apparently selling the consumer (Sennheiser Hearing) division…
    Think I read somewhere that the Sennheiser family (Pro Division) still have the final say. Was half asleep when I read this, though.
    (Opens a new browser to go recap).

    Great sound from most products I've recently bought, though there have been a few returns and replacements swapped out.

    Hope the new owners lift the quality and the brand back to its former glory!

  • really like this "west stone" this kinda style usually super comfortable. those reviews really worry me
