I bought used version 1 off market place. These are heavy and uncomfortable. They don’t sound anything special as well. The ear pads get smelly after some time because of the sweat. Sold them after a few weeks. People buy it to feel special I guess. Not worth it at all.

@teddiebear: They are decent, and yes better and cheaper out there but one thing the others don’t have is the Apple integration which is pretty smooth. So I guess it’s if you want to pay the Apple tax for that as you really have no other option.

I have a pair of Soundpeats Air5 Pro+ (currently $100 on Amazon) that connect automatically to my phone when I pull them out of the case, the touch features work very well in my experience as well.
What else is there integration wise that I'm missing?
@shutuptakemymoney101: If you’re in the ecosystem - using one pair of AirPods on your atv / laptop / phone / watch and switching between devices is pretty seamless.
Live listen is great, can hear if the baby’s woken up while you’re watching tv and mamas asleep. Then having the on device controls to eg. Pause atv while you tend to baby, then switch to a podcast from your watch when you realise baby is just going to be a jerk and you’ll be patting them for an hour+ to try get them back to sleep.

Some people only want sound quality and noise cancelling and for that you can get equivalent options for much cheaper. In ear AirPods do the job too.

Um acktually this is the AirPods Max which are over-ear headphones. Earbuds refers to in-ear earphones. Apple calls their wired earphones EarPods, and their wireless earphones AirPods and AirPods Pro. /s 🤓

I bought the Gen 1 lightning ones on the day of release and they still work as good as the day I got them. Use them every day too…6 years ain’t bad for a pair of headphones.
