You'd struggle to find better bang for buck. I've wasted money servicing a Gerni and learnt the hard way that I'd have been better off (financially) accepting this throw-away way of life by buying cheap like this. Use it while it works, should get a few years out of it then replace with the next cheapest unit.

      • It's a sad reality (buy cheap and throw away instead of maintain), but your right.

I've had a good run with Gerni. Ryobi was the one that gave me issue after issue so returned it to Bunnings

    • Depends on what you need to do?

Good for quick wash etc. but if you want to do your driveway etc, be prepared to spend a full day on cleaning.

It also doesn't say but the 1.8k psi, is that on trigger or normal flow?

  • at this price, it's pretty damn good value!. Thanks OP. it has all the attachments I wanted.

  • This vs. Ozito? Can't seem to find many reviews on Vyking products.. am keen for the $$ though.

It's cheap but not having a proper hose reel makes it a pain to pack away. Spend the extra to get one with a spool.

    • +3

I don't think having a hose spool warrants spending over double the price.

      • Wait for a $99-120 Aldi / Bunnings deal. Definitely worth it. I've had a shitty one with no spool and I ended up paying to wash at my local car wash instead because I hate the setup and packup

I have a cheap Bosch pressure washer, it takes all of 10 seconds to spool the hose up by hand.

Save ten bucks and get a higher rated version: https://autobarn.com.au/ab/Autobarn-Category/Shop-our-Full-R…

Thanks op bought one. Btw the other $10 cheaper version don't come with a foam gun, so less pressure and also no foam gun. Worth $10 extra for this one, if someone considering the other one.

    • You pay $30 more and no foam gun

      • The free foam guns are shit on all pressure washers. You need an aftermarket foam cannon

Different product but same brand review:

I have a vyking force air compressor, very robust unit built well, feels premium quality. Highly recommend.

  • Out of stock Victoria unfortunately. Really wanted one of these!

    • As per @OzbHere you can go instore and ask for a back order. Prob best to ring your local store first to see if they can do this for you.

  • Good price for the washer but you would need a longer hose. 5m is painfully short to wash the car with, 10m is ideal

  • good luck finding any stock

I was able to go to store in craigieburn and put it on back-order and they honoured price at no additional cost.
they will buzz me when they receive it and is ready to pick up.

hope this helps someone who is really keen to get one

  • Got one from Mt Ommaney this morning. Box was very dusty. Must of been there for a while.

  • Got a special order done - paid half the price as a deposit. Got told it might take a few weeks for it to arrive.
