Also consider the following if you prefer a larger surface area. I got one the other day and it’s remarkably quiet: https://www.binglee.com.au/products/easy-fry-pizza-xl-fw4018

Same & JB price matched, Excellent air fryer

The opening is pretty small, look at in person before pulling the trigger.

        That's what he said.

      • Tefal FW4018 (not the one Op posted)

    • What sort of surface does the food sit on/in for the FW4018? I want to avoid "non-stick" if possible.

I prefer a glass airfryer. The one I got costs less than this too. Too much plastic for me here.

    • Link?

    • Yes, link please

The glass one has just as much plastic contact surface area with the food as this one does

      • And considering almost everything else you buy is in plastic anyway, I don’t imagine an Air Fryer that you barely use is going to help much.

      • +4

Nah it has 0. The bowl is glass and the heater element is hidden by a metal grill https://amzn.asia/d/0hcACh2J. Plastic parts don't touch the food.

I also saw some metal only ones. No plastic even in the body

        • That's pretty cool, the Crispi is the only other one I've seen and that's the one where the foods in contact with synthetic materials

          • @lovrekn: Waiting for the Crispi Pro to start selling in Australia but it'll be a few times the price of the Healthy Choice model. I do like the fact that you can use Crispi's baskets as storage containers though.

    • Easycook turbo oven FTW! Best ever.

I think Ninja has ceramic bucket/drawer…if that is of interest.

    • Link please? Could be interesting

    • wow lucky didnt buy it for $129

    I have this.

    Brilliant air fryer. No complaints.

Love the big deep size - can literally fit a whole chicken, and also make a cake.

    • +1

Seconded. Have owned this model for close to 13 months, and also can’t recommend it highly enough.

Good to clean and keep clean; and despite claims of others - there’s zero plastic in contact with the food.

  • Does it do a full pizza 28cm looking for reliable brand that does

    • Tefal EY855D No, but FW4018 will do full pizza.

  • Get this 8L one for like $60 when there is temu cashbacks

    • ohhh this looks okay! is it good?

      • Well, it is working fine and does the job. An airfryer is an airfyer, what else would you expect it to do

    I bought
Instant Vortex Plus VersaZone 8.5L Air Fryer - Black 1242568 a few weeks back for $120 from Harrisscarfe however seems out of stock.

Check other options below in this range from Smith & Nobel, Ninja, Instant Pot etc.

The pull out tray types are next to useless now. The small oven types with 2 or 3 pull out shelves, even rotisserie, light and glass front are game changers. Can separate food, multiple cooking options and way more space. We cook pizzas, cakes, chicken, baguettes you name it. And at a similar cost. Everything takes only 10 to 20 min and heats up quick.

    • What brand and model
      Got a link?

      • No link but
        Kitchen couture 30litre black.
They are brilliant. Watch out for sales

  • RRP's for airfryers in particular are ridiculous - if anyone is paying $349 for something like this they really need to hand in their OZB membership but they're unlikely to have one if they are paying that sort of coin. $129 is more of a regular price and $109 seems to be the discount if you can get it then.

  • This Mistral air fryer seems like a better deal. We have the older model and it's been going strong for 3+ years. We probably use it every second day.
It's 10.3L and on sale for $99 with free shipping to at least most metro areas.
