      If your new account isn't flagged as suspicious by Temu. It happened to me earlier this year when buying a drone from a local seller. Had to settle for 64% on existing users.

      Bought a Steam Deck in Feb for $980 ($843 tracked for $674 return), got the cashback last week (was to be confirmed by 23rd May). This was via ShopBack though not TopCashback, unsure if they're any different really

          Its authentic, bought it from Tristar, they're a local seller and they sell phones and stuff too, fairly sure a few people have bought from them without issue

          I ordered it on a Sunday (22nd), and it arrived a day early on the Tuesday (ETA was Wed 25th), came pretty quick. I'm only about an hour away from the sender though as it comes from Toongabbie

    Risky! Keep in mind they might flag your purchase as an unusual purchase or may reject cashback after the return period. So take your chances for higher value items, and if it doesn't get paid out, don't be disappointed either.

      Yep, happened to me with Lenovo. I use a browser only for cashback sites so I can ensure all trackers are allowed and no blocking active. Always worked for cashrewards and works for shop back. But topcashback didn't work and they said it must be the browser settings. Needless to say I haven't used them again. Shop back still works for me though so that's the one I use since cashrewards closed.

    I think they’ve become stricter about letting high-value orders go through, even if you’ve set everything up as a new user. It’s just not worth the risk anymore

    Risky , very difficult process on their withdrawal process , they will lock the withdrawal if they find anything suspicious and long process with them to sort it out , sometimes leading to account deactivation

      True. I think they should just cap it if they aren't willing to pay out such a large amount of cashback, they normally fine with low value order

      Denied how? Did it track first and then get denied? And how long did it take?
      The worst case is a delayed rejection (ie after a return period), but I've never experienced this. The tracked amount after a week always holds AFAIK… (except when I've cancelled/returned an order)

      If that changes, we're screwed.

    Some seem to be suggesting that $1000 value is the threshold for 'suspicious activity' flagging with new accounts, so staying under that should have a better chance of working out

      I have tried multiple times to get a item that is $750. All tries were refunded due to 'suspicious activity'. I tried a few times because getting the refund is no issue and it seems some people ste successful. I have given up as it is a bit of a waste of time and even if the item is shipped, who knows if you will get the cashback. They should just put a cap on it if they do not want to honour the cashback for high value items.

    Problem with seller - absolutely refuses to honor consumer law. Don’t buy anything but cheap junk furniture (no electronics etc) or things like that, and expect those to have issues still.

    Even at 80% cashback temu is an absolute scam.

    Also note if you do return anything Cashback is void in full.

      Previous users had to pass a phone verication call from temu due to suspicious activity being flagged on the new account. Some users claimed it went through, others got cancelled and refunded. I too am waiting for somebody to put an order through - I'm in desperate need for a new iphone!

        Might as well give it a go, chances are it’ll be declined even if you pass verification like mine.

        After it’s declined it gives you an option to upload bank statement to avoid future orders being declined, I’m assuming it’s a way for them to avoid paying out cashback.

      OK got the phone call this morning - all good.
      Note it came to my regular phone number, not my other number which I used with temu and it came up as 'Suspected Spam' with caller ID from a landline number in Sydney

        Got the call as well. I saved their number like others suggested in another post. They asked me to log into the app and confirm the order details, including the amount, what I purchased, the delivery suburb, and whether it’s for personal or business use.

        Nobody has confirmed their tracking above so definitely issue with TCB.

              @Ash-Say: It doesn't take much to break tracking - even a small code change at either end but TA has always been pretty excellent to the community about fixing things so I have faith in him to make it right where possible

    Good luck to those who ordered and tracked. In a previous order topcashback/temu declined the cashback like 4-6 weeks in (even though it fully tracked). No reason why. Guess they flagged something
