I like Alltrails as I can download offline maps to my Garmin watch. And comes in handy when going overseas and wanting to maximise your time focusing on the best trails. Not sure your one has these - could be wrong. I don't like navigating using my phone on hikes.
I'm only paying like $15 a year via Alltrails Philippines on auto renew as normal price which I'm fine with. I get my money's worth.
All the GPX files I've added to my garmin watch have come from that site, so far haven't had any issues with them.
Not sure on overseas maps.

@Mikael: Oh cool. It must renew at your original sign up price. I just checked my subscription and it costed me 190TRY, or about $6.13.
I just download the GPX files from AllTrails and throw it into OsmAnd on my phone to get the route there and then can also upload to my Garmin Watch. Both work offline and for free.
How do you put the files into osmand on android?
Open AllTrails
Open the trail you want to save (dont open the map)
Press the 3 dots in the top right corner
Press "Export route file"
Open OsmAnd
Press the 3 lines in the bottom right corner
Press "Plan a route"
Press "Import Track"
Make sure you have a backup map. People have got stuck and needed rescue, telling SES that they were just following all trails. Gaia is an option

My AllTrails sub is due to expire on 3 May, but want to renew before it lapses. Can't see any options in the app to do so beyond turning on auto sub at full price. Do I need to wait for it to lapse and then look for a code that is valid in May for resubscribing ?
Do it via a browser on your phone or computer towards the end of April to renew at half price. I usually use Chrome on Android or Chrome on iPhone. (You may half to change the behaviour of the phone OS to keep it from going into the app from the phone’s browser).
I'd pay this for a lifetime sub. I use the app at least 3 times a year!
