$100 for Referrer & Referee for Opening Orange Everyday & Savings Maximiser Accounts (Min Deposit & Spend Required) @ ING

1030

(a) Reward

Subject to these terms, you can receive the reward for each person you refer ("Friend"), when the Friend does all of the following (the "Eligibility Criteria"):

  • OPEN: Opens an Orange Everyday account during the Promotion Period, and accurately enters your unique promotional code at the time of account opening; and
  • DEPOSIT: Makes deposits totalling at least $1,000 into their new Orange Everyday from an external source (such as their pay) within a single calendar month during the Promotion Period;
  • SPEND: Uses their new Orange Everyday card to make 5+ settled (not pending) purchases* within a single calendar month during the Promotion Period; and
  • HOLD: Either holds a Savings Maximiser account, or opens one and makes a deposit of any amount into it during the Promotion Period.

This offer does not apply where:

  • the Orange Everyday account opened by the Friend is opened as part of an application for an Orange Advantage Home Loan; or
  • the Friend has held an Orange Everyday account at any point since 1 July 2019 (even if the account is now closed).

You will be eligible for a Reward each time a Friend satisfies the Eligibility Criteria. So, for example, if two of Friends each satisfy the Eligibility Criteria, you can receive double the reward. For privacy reasons, ING will not tell you which friend met the Eligibility Criteria.

The Friend can also receive a maximum of one Reward where they meet each of the Eligibility Criteria.

Any Reward will be paid within 30 days after the Friend meets all Eligibility Criteria, although in some cases this may take longer.

*Card purchases include in store purchases, online purchases, regular card payments, payWave, Apple Pay, and Google Pay transactions made with an Orange Everyday card. When using the phrase 'settled' card purchases in a calendar month, we mean that the purchases made on the card must be fully processed by the end of the last day of that month.

(b) Bonus Referral Reward

Subject to these terms, if you are eligible to receive a Reward for referring five (5) or more Friends during the Promotional Period, you will also be eligible to receive $500 ("Bonus Referral Reward") in addition to any Reward earned.

You can only earn the Bonus Referral Reward once during the Promotional Period.

The Bonus Referral Reward will be paid within 30 days after 31 May 2026, although in some cases this may take longer.

Also ing must be desperate for new customers with how often they’re running referral bonuses lately. I guess the barefoot investor hype for them has faded away.

      • What they’re really good, banked with them for years and zero issues, even do lots of promotional stuff to get free money for very little effort.

The benefits have dropped off over the years. I really loved the ATM operator fee rebates. Miss them the most.

      • Macquarie superior but they don't have a refferal bonus.

      • I agree. They’ve become quite average. They removed the ATM rebate and other perks that were supposed to compensate for not having physical branches. On top of that, they harass me annually with KYC requests - something none of my other financial institutions have questioned - while I’ve never received any of the bonuses they seem to be offering others. Based on the feedback I’ve seen, it looks like they’re heading toward full mediocrity.

      • IIRC their referral bonus runs quite regularly, every quarter or so? Although could be targeted sometimes

No where to put my referral code though…

    • I just enabled the referral system, please refresh the page.

      Edit: 2:08 AEST
I've forgotten to flush the referral pool as I didn't think the referral program is targeted, so anyone that has entered their referral 10 minutes ago, you will need to re-enter again. (If you are eligible for it) Sorry for inconvenience.

      • Nice! Was just looking for this last night, kudos!

Still unable to enter my referral code.

        • It's a checkbox that you must tick, you don't enter any text in.

          • @scrimshaw: Got it thanks. I was under the impression I needed to enter my referral link like with other referrals.

      • Was wondering why my referral expired despite only being entered a week ago.

Don't have it in my offers

They're very select with the generosity…very select.

  • How long does it take for the bonus to be deposited?

    • "The Bonus Referral Reward will be paid within 30 days after 31 May 2026, although in some cases this may take longer."

If you refer 5 people by end of May, you also get an extra $500 bonus. Total $1000.

Created a new account - How long before I get a referral code?

  • -1

Does this mean you still get the referral bonus if you refer more than 5 people?

  • Can we deposit the $1000 and take it out? Or do we have to keep it in the account?

    • You can, the money does not have to stay.

  • The most generous referral system.

    • except it seems to be select who they offer it to

  • Can't remember if I opened once since 2019 haha

Where to find referral code in App?

I sent via email, was the title?

  • I just realised I didn't deposit $1000 last month to get $20 so needed something like this to get me out of my missed bonus depression

  • oh no.

'We may refuse to pay any of the rewards under this offer, in our reasonable opinion, you have used this offer in a manner that is not satisfactory to us or otherwise not in line with the intent of the offer. This includes conduct on your part which, in our reasonable opinion, undermines the fair and intended operation of the offer, such as by (a) sharing your promotional code on the 'OzBargain' website or other similar code sharing website or on public forum'

    Lol

we have a snitch(s) amongst us! xD

      • that's been "long running". think it was after they denied someone a referral. Few weeks later, clause was in.

  • if i click the link it says you have been referred.but the promotional code says ask your friend.if i copy and paste it says it is invalid.where is the referral code and where to copy it.

    • You need to click the referral "random xxx" and a pop up message will show, you need to ask via DM.

      • Thanks bro!

They really need to rethink this. Which I’ve told them repeatedly to no avail.

So, you get the referral (again). You do the rounds of the usual suspects, who mostly refuse to play (beats me what people have against free money). Someone bites. It takes time to get the physical card into their hands, therefore there’s no point even trying in the last couple weeks of the month. But say they take up the offer in the couple of weeks you have available…

Now there are hurdles. Names have to match ID exactly. And you can’t edit the application. If you clear that hurdle, accounts must have at least one deposit. Fail that, and the account is suspended, cannot be reactivated, and a new account doesn’t qualify since the dead account means you’re already a customer.

A week after the end of the offer period, you get a new one, for a different amount. Rinse and repeat. My last four have alternated between $100 and $125, and all bar two people, who were physically close enough for me to jump the hurdles for, failed at least one of the above traps.

The code never changes, and they really need to make this program permanent, removing time limits.

  • Never had a problem with ING. It's pretty user friendly, but don't like how they recently updated the app to a whole new one.
