Lots of other Easter chocolate on clearance at Coles Local in Concord NSW.
Most of it is from Cadbury.
The Lindt gold bunnies are probably the best of the lot.
Located near the staffed checkouts.

Referee & Referrer: $20 off $150 Spend on Coles Deliver More
Just walked through Coles World Square in Sydney and they were also $3 there too.
COles I was just in (in SA) had them for $3; 200g ones were $5
200g of lindt for $5 is actually alright
Better than the $20 RRP and the $14 “special”.
Our local Coles (Brisbane) had the 200g bunnies for $4 ($20/kg), which was 75% off.
The Lindnt mini eggs (390g packet) worked out to be $16/kg - also pretty good.
Nope, my friends' local had them for $1 yesterday, my local isn't even 50% off! Only 30% off atm…
My local did that last year then suddenly dropped everything to $1. Which is your friend’s local?
Bought the 200g for $1 as Coles (WA) yesterday.
Surprise, surprise…
Yep, surprise, surprise - they didn't sell at $8 or whatever they were before Easter :P
It was $12. The 200g was $14.
Nobody is gonna pay the $100 plus per kilo they keep dreaming about.
that changes everything once I realised it was $100 a kg lol actually more dude its $12 at RRP so $120 per kg LOL
Hey hey hey those custom bunny moulds that they only use once a year and have never updated absolutely justifies the 5x premium over the typical 200g blocks.
Those little bells around their necks aren't free, you know.
I said 100 plus
Hehe @ 100 p3r kg i much prefer to eat sashimi
They aren't really comparable, though, are they?
I mean, the Venn diagram of "times I want to eat sashimi" and "times I want to eat chocolate" has no overlap at all. It's just 2 completely separate circles.
Gp, but yeah i guess everyones different. I actually more satisfied eating sashimi than chocolate
Its prob like how some people like savoury while others liking sweets
$3 for the small ones, $5 for the large.
Woolies want $9 for the large,
Woolies sucks at clearance.
The chocolate cartels think they can keep charging these exorbitant prices until 2027 according to this article
https://www.afr.com/companies/retail/why-your-easter-bunny-s…
I say good luck to them.
That article does not load for some reason.
Cheers. Seems like just like eggs. They jacked up the prices when there was shortage and dont want to bring them down now.
“There is a lag effect between cocoa and chocolate prices,”
But surprisingly 180g went from $2.40 to $8 (333%) seemingly overnight.
Cocoa beans have dropped to a third the price they were mid last year, and you might give them a few months grace. But by Christmas, and certainly well before Easter they should have dropped back to the $2.40 per 180g level. That they haven't is just a rort and the ACCC should be implementing windfall taxes.
The cacao that is selling today isn’t even being harvested until just before Christmas - most cacao contracts are futures and the main harvest is Oct to March
So the cheaper cacao won’t get to the chocolate makers until mid 2027 at the earliest. At the moment they are using the cacao from 2024/25 harvest, which is when prices were at their highest
cool info, thanks for the heads up.
@ProlapsedHeinous: This is how fuel works too but they jacked the price immediately. Can you explain that one?
Greek Easter
FTW
Same with Serbian/Russian Easter. At least you guys adhere to the old calendar for that. Sucks to hear y'all don't do Xmas on Jan 7th; even more savings on xmas hams, crackers etc.
Orthodox Easter celebrated by over 15 countries.
How many of them still do Jan 7th Xmas?
55g is sugar.
What are you expecting
Or just oil in the balls..never going to eat one again.
Please keep it pg, cumova
Was just in a Big w store they had 15 pallet loads 5 foot high of Cadbury bunny's at less than half price $3 & no body touching them .awful chocolate imo.
all the lucky orthodox easter goers get all the bargains for easter :)
Even $3 is not great when it's 100grams.
Still expensive.
$3 expensive ? huh
Yep, needs to be less than $1 for clearance stock.
lol tight ass
Hurry only a few (hundred) left
Thousands, my local stores are still full. Chocolate companies screwed themselves over this Easter
Tighter budgets, rising interest rates, and rising fuel prices will do that. Easter bunnies and eggs are a luxury people can easily do without.
paid $8 in those suckers
Do a refund and purchase again… lol
Anyone saw any dark choc ones? Why only red scarf everywhere???
My local had the 200g Lindt dark chocolate in Melbourne.
Sounds like what the regular price should be….
Let me know when they are $1.
I just did a Coles online order (delivery to Sydney metro area) and there were plenty Easter Egg bargains online, including $3 for the Lindt milk chocolate bunnies.
Still overpriced
Currently 75cents at Vincentia Coles
It’s the Greek Easter discount…!!
Orthodox Easter celebrated by over 15 countries.
I am glad people are being smart and not buying them!!!!!
Saw this. Went to check out Coles at Wynard Station. None left.
Now we talking!
Otherwise forget it.
Cacao price fuel price bla bla.. bite me lol
Farq Moi… I paid like $14 bux for one of these less than a week ago….
I’m going to need you to hand in your ozbargain licence
Coles near me was sold out except for a lone section lindt small eggs for $9 which no one thought was a good deal. I’m kinda glad, if ai got those big bunnies for 90 cents each like some people I would have bought 20 and spoiled my dirt for a month.
200g is selling for $5
If anyone finds elegant rabbits anywhere order eastern Melbourne my wife may leave me for you 😂
Paid $3 for 200g Lindt Bunny on Monday at the local Coles.
i wonder what the margins on these must of been if they can let it go for 3 dollars so my guess 1 dollar to make.
Noticed Woolworths had far less remaining stock compared to Coles.
$1.50 at my local Coles. 100s of them
Which one
Macquarie Centre in Sydney has them at that price. Woolies in the same centre is still asking $6
Lindt and Cadbury are both gross "chocolates" if you can call them that.
What is a good brand of chocolate?
My local IGA had the 1kg Lindt bun for $180.
Currently at $90, and soon to be less I imagine.
Can confirm these are still available this morning. Reasonable selection of other half price (non-Easter) chocolate in their confectionery aisle.
100g for $3 when I usually get 180g for $4.
$1.50 now for the 100g bunny at Coles Macquarie centre. Also the 390 gram mini egg (3 types in the bag) were $5.
anyone know if this is nation wide?
