      What about Spiderman?

Would recommend Balatro on a tablet instead (or phone if you have good eye sight), perfect platform for it both portability and control wise.

Free on Apple Arcade as well!

Balatro on the Nintendo Switch was like crack for me. Ability to move from the TV right to handheld without feeling like it's a downgraded experience.

    • Yep, provided you're ok with having it in hands reach at all times. I have it on my phone and love it

Does anyone find Balatro too easy? Anyway to make it harder than waiting to unlock decks?

    • Do you play with high stakes (i.e., up to gold?).

At the gold level it can be quite difficult.

I find it too hard. I must suck lol.

    • What do you mean, "waiting"?
It tells you how to unlock each deck in the menu.

    • You should be raising the stakes. The initial ones is incredibly easy but it bumps up in difficulty very quickly. One issue is that the hardest difficulties tend to only be beaten with a fair amount of luck, which may be appropriate for a card game.

Hades 2 is 1 week away

  • Never played Hades 1, perhaps I give it a shot….

    • Enjoy… "just one more run…."

  • Both games are just so good.

Waiting for Hades 1 at this price on Switch 👀 looks like it usually has a sale in the first half of the year sometime

Hades is definitely one of the best roguelites out there, but its still a roguelite so you may not like it if you don't have the time to invest or wouldn't have the patience with the repetitive dynamic.

I had to make thirty or so attempts to clear it the first time. Best strat for beating as a newb is equipping the shield and bumrushing enemies, also maxing out on Doom, and equipping the buff that increases the rarity of items - sorry can't remember it right now.

Cleared it on my 11th run but I was playing the long game and always choose the materials pathway. Promptly put it down after that as I was playing on Gamepass, but its the kind of game I would want to platinum on PS5.

Think I will HODL for PS+ release if ever…

Hera bow for me. I took around 30 attempts for my first clear, then discovered the hera bow and went on a huge winning steak. It's partially about working out the dodge timings and falling into a rhythm. Still can't get perfect catches.

On that note, hades 2 is really excellent.
