i find the ones without inners are smaller the the other roll in weight & size accounting for the cardboard inner & the quality seem poorer imo.

Picture of Sydney home stockpiling necessities lays bare concerning trend

A massive delivery of 160 rolls of toilet paper and dozens of boxes of tissues to a Sydney doorstep has exposed the return of a concerning trend.

On the doorstep of a Sydney terrace this week lay a peculiar delivery: 160 rolls of toilet paper, dozens of boxes of tissues and a row of Coles bags filled to the brim.

The extraordinary scene comes amid reports the price of essential groceries in Australia could surge by as much as 20 per cent by mid to late April.
    etc etc

ok….fess up…which one of you live there?

    • My doordash had a 40% off offer, worked out about $6.20 after fees

  • Do you guys subscribe then cancel all the time? or just order with one time purchase?
I've been cancelling the subscription all the time and not sure whether I am doing things right.

Coles toilet paper is better than Quilton, and its 21c per 100 sheets.

    • Really? Ill give Coles toilet paper a go. Cheers.

      • I think its good. Theres the 4 roll pack which is big rolls which is 30c/100 but the new large pack which is 21c/100 for 24 rolls $9.50. I think its the same or maybe better than Quilton, but Aldi also have a toilet paper which is very similar which may be Quilton. The Woolworths brand toilet paper doesnt seem as good.

    • The Woolies version isn't that bad either. Cheaper than Quilton too.

  • This has been the regular price since December so hardly a deal?

  • How’s this compared to Costco’s Kirkland?

    • +1

Price, I think this wins. I prefer Kirkland though, not enough to sway me away from a good Quilton deal though

I've been taking free toilet paper from work for the past 5 years haven't bought a single roll… Don't judge me 😌

    • +1

i would if the toilet paper was even comfortable.

    • I promise I won't, but the magistrate may when convicting you for theft.

  • I tried to order this exact listing last week, as I have many times before. It was meant to be delivered the next day, but was delayed for days, until they just cancelled it without any explanation. The entire time it was still available to order for next day delivery. Very strange.

  • Yeah, I have had that happen a few times. I reckon the driver runs off with it lol

  • Don't bother with this. Will take months to get delivered. You'll have bought this many rolls from Woollies or Coles and used them before these ones arrive.

    • Bought these many times and always been delivered the next day or day after.

  • Sorry, Quilton 3-Ply Toilet Tissue 48 Pack (1 x 48 Rolls) can't be shipped to the address you selected. Please remove the item or select another address.

Nothing ships regional these days… Metro only basically.

  • Bought 1.
    Just sharing the below cashbacks.

  • Thanks

  • Has anyone seen Quilton Prints available on Amazon?
This 48x Quilton with print would be good.

Tried Quilton, Sorbent, Kirkland and Kleenex. None of them can beat Confidence from ALDI for overall for quality, comfort and value!

  • Aldi is selling Quilton 18-count cotton for $9.89, which is 31 cents per count. Is this a popular deal because it’s being shipped?

    • +3

      $9.89/18, that's $0.55/roll. This deal is $20.70/48 = $0.43/roll.

$0.31 at ALDI is per 100 sheets, not per count (this deal is $0.24 per 100 sheets).

      • +1

Ah, I see. Thank you so much for the reply and pointing that out. 🙏

      • Thanks for calculating ($0.24 per 100 sheets). Always good to know the per 100 sheet price for comparison with these deals.
Roll price isn't a good comparison as they can vary in sheets per roll.
