  • Thanks OP.

This is actually a really good deal for Samoa.

Lovely country, my favourite in the Pacific.

And at this price, totally worth it if you have kids.

I did a dummy booking for 8 nights: 23 August, for 2 adults and 2 kids. Total $4,512.

Flights alone are $3500. For for $1,000 you're getting 8 nights accommodation across both islands, which would be minimum $200-300 per night.

    Plus transfers, extra bonuses, etc.

    Great value.

    • They’ll get you with the restaurant prices. You’re pretty much captive to their catering.

    • do you recommend any resorts?

      • We booked our own flights, stayed at Fales throughout both islands, and finished at the Tanoa resort, which is quite nice.

  • Stayed at Return to Paradise resort with family group of 9 last year, it isn't the flashest resort you'll stay at but the resort beach, staff, food and nearby scenic spots were fantastic. It was so hot we spent most of our time in the water. We hired a van while we were there and used it to travel around the island. This is a pretty good price if you have kids.

  • Suggestions for a nice hotel there? I wanted to go a year ago, but the reviews where all so bad online… Apparently quality of food is an issue, a friend of mine said one of the sheratons is actually losing its license due to food… But would love to go, have been to other pacific islands such as Fiji, Vanuatu and New Caledonia.
