Cool; thanks - Diablo is a Fanta themed Town Portal. That'll do - haven't subbed to WoW in a few years now; casual dad scrub

    • Same.. WoW was fun in the day but it will be a massive time sink starting up again, I find Diablo pretty casual/relaxing

      • +1

Apparently retail (midnight) is very casual friendly

        • too expensive to play continuously

Gutted we didn't get the Taco Bell x Tony Hawk promotion since I love both of those things.

I drink 4 or 5 litres of Pepsi (or Coke, I switch up often) a day, and Xbox is the platform of choice too, but I just don't do online.

Always a bummer to miss out on something when you're the exact target demo lol, love these sorts of promotions nonetheless though. Bring back the free week/end of Game Pass with a bag of Doritos, while y'alls at it!

Yikes, I hope you drink sugar free mate

    • 4 to 5 litres? Did a double take but I don't think this is satire

      • My favourite fun fact about myself is I have drank that every day for basically 20 odd years.

I last went to the dentist when I was around 12/13, early year 7 I think. I went for a clean and shit about a year ago, first time in 13/14 odd years right…expected the worst, grit my teeth (no pun intended) and was gonna get whatever fillings or whatever they'd recommend.

Dude goes "well you've got a little chip on this tooth that you could probably get plugged up but otherwise, all good, off you trot"

        I was quite chipper.

Ofc he said you shouldn't drink that much, but he followed it up very quickly with a "well, I don't think I'm gonna change your mind, but keep it diet at least hey"

        • Well a lot of dental health just comes down to genetics, bacterial biome and saliva quality. Some people get cavities never drinking any acidic drinks. I'd be more concerned about bone density and kidney function with all that phosphoric acid, but you do you.

          • @steve bennett: Yeah, I push it to the back of my mind, but I'm definitely going to run into some sort of bad shit down the line, hey. Worst thing is whenever I go "I'll do this to cut back" and it ends up making me have more. Like when I was working an office job a few years back I thought I'd take a 2 litre to my desk and had a stack of plastic cups in the drawer, rather than darting down to the fridge every hour or so for a tinny. Turns out you can finish a two litre before lunch. For me, I think the problem is availability, like in that example. I'm home 247 these days, like, don't get me wrong, I have shit I'm doing, I'm caring for my nan (officially, like, I am on carer pension at the moment), got my two kiddos, and the missus as well who doesn't drive so like, I'm always doing shit…but there's always a can in reach, and I don't enjoy moderation. It's why I stopped drinking altogether a few years back, I'd rather just not have a drink at all, than have one or two every now and then. I could do it, but I don't want to do it. Same with food, last couple months (almost three) I've stopped (mostly) eating junk and have lived off steaks and chicken and actual meat, I've dropped a good 15 kilos with zero exersize, I am the poster child for "all or nothing" mentality.

This Dylan history lesson was brought to you by Pepsi, because by now, they should pay me something.

            • @TheDukeOfNukem: I'll bet you are the all-in kinda guy I need to hack every console I've ever purchased now I have no time to learn all the scene stuff I used to do whilst at uni (many years ago)

Stupid thing is I won't even use them, but I like to think I have them there so I could if I wanted to

              • @justtoreply: I quite literally have a Dreamcast memory card on a lanyard thing right now for the train ride home from a concert in the city.

                Probably. ;)

                • @TheDukeOfNukem: Lol. Not sure why that's part of the home commute?

My old DC doesn't want to boot discs 99% of the time which sucks, as I still love a bit of metropolis Street racer

                  • @justtoreply: I put Tetris on it the other day and it's been a fun little doodad. I was in one of those $2 stores the other day and they had some Dreamcast blue looking lanyards for 10 cents and I was like know what, I'm (profanity) wearing a VMU now.

Internet can be a bit spotty on the train home and at that time the missus is more or less zonked, so we chat, but definitely not for the whole trip home. So, Tetris. (I don't really have any games on my phone or anything tbh)

Get a GDemu? I put one in the other day and it was so easy, my drive shit the bed too, throw this in it's place, load up your ROMs, donezo. Love the thing. That's far from the best price too, just the first one on Ali to show you what it is.

                    • @TheDukeOfNukem: Any soldering?

                      • @justtoreply: Nah mate. Unscrew the console, then there's three or four standard philips head screws holding the drive in, undo them, then rip the thing out, it's held in place with a big ol' probably about 3 or 4cm long connector bit, like a power plug, it goes in, and comes out. Rip the sucker out, then just drop the GDemu in it's place, voila. Can explain better later when I have a bit more time, or a YouTube tutorial will do, but it's real simple, even an idiot like me got it.

    • Yeah I think the promo is only in the US thankfully still works here, and damn that's a lot of cola.. Tried soda stream + syrup?

FH6 is a 1966 Toyota Sports 800 Fanta Edition, could be pretty rare?

    Thanks OP!

Interesting, xbox claim code says it's a 1965 model

    • I don't see an option for a Forza game/prize, only Halo, COD and Diablo. Any tips?

      • I thought I was in the same boat, couldn't see Forza, but I just played the COD themed game, and then was able to pick which game I wanted the prize for afterwards

Good guide on doing this on a computer. If you want multiple rewards, you can sign up to Coca Cola with different email addresses and do each one on a separate account. You don't have to wait a week between claims then. I grabbed the three WoW drops as well as the Diablo one doing it this way.

Also, the Diablo IV portal isn't instant delivery. I believe you get it when the new expansion comes out. The WoW stuff will be in your bnet launcher under Gifts.

  • anyone got their D4 gift yet?
