I have these and would not pay this much for them. Maybe if the price was closer to $300.

    • How is the ANC on these for office meetings and work-from-home meetings?

      • The ANC is quite good, probably their best feature. It's not so great for public transport (bus), where going over bumpy terrain will lead to a nasty effect on the noise cancelling. This seems like a problem with Bose headphones because I remember old QC25s had the same problem.

They are comfortable and pretty light, but the ear pads need replacing after 12 month's of relatively careful use. Again, a design flaw because reports of this are everywhere.

Sound quality is quite good but not mind blowing coming from Sony WHXM3.

        Battery life, pretty mediocre.

I just feel like paying $400 should deliver something more.

    • I just bought these myself. And what i found out that since my smartphone (Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+) doesn't have Snapdragon sound certification which uses aptX adaptive that it falls back to the AAC codec. The QuietComfort Ultra has Snapdragon sound certification. Even though my smartphone supports aptX HD as my Sennheiser Momentum 4 headphone happily connects through aptX HD on my smartphone. But it still sounds pretty good even with AAC.

So before purchase you've got to make sure that your smartphone supports aptX adaptive as the smartphone will fall back to the AAC codec with this pair of headphones.

      • that was the reason I returned mine when these just came out

        lack of codec support

went with XM6 and happy with it (S25U) as LDAC support is more widespread, and it's a good enough HD codec

    • Agree, particularly when the Momentum 4 can be had for $289 on Amazon Business. Even at this price, it’s still overpriced.

Unless you absolutely need the best ANC or plan to use aptX Lossless right now, I’d recommend the Sennheiser MOMENTUM 4 Wireless to most people. It simply offers more for less.

      • I recently bought my Momentum 4 80th Anniversary for the same $289 when JB did the recent sale but this was to the general public. It's the best set of headphones that i have in my opinion. The coolest looking headphones too probably.
