PC Case Fan PWM ARGB Prism 4 Pro - Black Colour - $5.95 ea + Delivery @ eBay Tanvry

100

Extended upon this deal from last year https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/930226, price dropped for the black forward fans.
Those in Metro Melbourne postcodes will get the discounted postage prices starting at $7.28 up to 1, $8.36 up to 3, $11.44 up to 6, $14.48 up to 20
Postage costs more for interstate buyers, unfortunately can't do anything about it as Australia Post offers the postage discount only on metro postcodes within the same city.

I used to build PCs quite often pre2025 but now RAM prices is making everything unaffordable for the foreseeable future so thought to clear these overstocked ones at cost. Will likely pull this deal in May before my uni exam period as I won't have time to be lodging parcels.

For those confused about Forward vs. Reverse PC Fans
A regular forward fan has two sides, the "Front" (the pretty side) and the "Back" (the side with the frame and wires).

  1. Forward Fans (The Standard)

On a Forward fan, the air always flows from the pretty side to the ugly side.

The Aesthetic Problem: If you want to pull cool air into the bottom or side of your case, you have to flip a regular fan over. This means you’re stuck looking at the "ugly" side (the frame and wires) inside your beautiful build.

  1. Reverse Fans (The Solution)

Reverse fans are engineered to fix the "ugly" problem. The fan blades are literally curved in the opposite direction. On a reverse fan, the air flows from the ugly side to the pretty side.
Front (Exhaust): The pretty side is now where the air comes out.
Back (Intake): The side with the frame is where the air goes in.

If you're able to buy more and you're near Clayton VIC, happy to sell these without the eBay and postage fee.

If you're not in a rush, wait for one of those 10% cashback offers stacked with a 3% off gift card on eBay to get a price in the low $5 range. If you do not require the PWM functionality and don't mind waiting you could save some money via aliexpress/alibaba first buyer deals as they have cheaper models for fixed speed ones due to not needing a smart IC.

Amazon also has non PWM models for about $24 delivered when on sale, and for those who don't need any lighting or aesthetics, PCCG has some fixed speed forward black ones for $15 for a 5 pack.

  • What Regular Circuitry mean? is that a pattern of some sort?

    • yep it's just a aesthetic, as you can see from the picture there's a theme whereas the standard just has a straight line

      • Also, what special about the Premium option fans?

        • also aesthetics. lighting and materials slightly different, more rigid plastic

          • @Tanvry: it's also meant to be more powerful, although when I tested it I can't really find that much of a notable difference so I just group them under the same performance specs

  • I have a thermaltake case that has a button that controls the lighting on the front three intake fans. Would these work with the case as well? Sorry I don't have much details on how it works exactly.

It depends a lot on the connector the current fans you have. Some companies like to lock it to their own brand and has a propriety connector or a 6 pin hubbed one, but if it's one of those with two cables, a universal 4pin pwm and 3pin argb then yes it'll work

      • Thanks a lot for the reply. That's very helpful, and I'll check it out.

          No worries! happy to help.

  • thanks op due for a fan but wanted to how to tell whats forward and backwards? can it not be flipped around to install or is the front what we see with the images?

edit: sorry just realised its in the description so gonna grab one

    • no worries! yeah the ones in the photo are all forward ones, but if you check the video in my listing, the bottom fans and side fans are all reverse, so that's why they all look really good instead of the wire being shown
