I've been searching for a compact flagship with long battery life for a while. Was tossing between Reno 14 pro and vivo x300. From what I can see this is a good price for the international version of the Vivo though only in pink other colours can be found cheaper elsewhere.

Oneplus 15?

i recently bought a mid range vivo z10, and oh boy there is lot of bloatware with the new origin OS6, most of them cannot be easily removed even via usual adb debloat theyll just come back or simply refused to be removed due to bootloader lock down (no unlock available at all), took alot of effort to simply hide them or disable as much as i can
Having said that i do like the phone its stable and performs well, just the bloatware might be bit of pain if you care.

Do you have to install new apps to hide them?

no i just use the "disable" option for the app

I bought a xiaomi recently and the bloatware was amazing, even by Samsung standards. The notes on the udb tool were eye popping i.e. files for data collection to send to Xiaomi and a tool for Xiaomi to add or delete files remotely via WiFi without the owner's knowledge. I'm not a sinophobe but it's worse than the US companies, with the exception of Facebook.

Yup. I do a LOT of packet sniffing on phones. Xiaomi products are a last pick for me. Oppo isnt much better (historically). I haven't checked either in about 3 years.
Stock Moto is the the cleanest 'common brand' these days.
Their next models will feature GrapheneOS, so if you want to be ultra privacy concerned, but dont want a Pixel phone, they'll have you covered.
'Nothing' as a brand, being UK/EU based is bound by GDPR so they also score fairly well.
HMD (nokia) also, for the same reasons.

Thanks for that, appreciate it.
I'm thinking I'll go back to Pixel next time, Xiaomi and Samsung are awful given that most people are going to use Google with an android phone anyway.
The notes on the Xiaomi browser and security were mind blowing!

Hi what about Samsung?

@hippo2s: Not for me.
If you read Samsungs 'dev packet' (apply to release an app on the Galaxy Store) one of the promises is basically that 'if a network connection exists, you can scrape data'.
You can request your data from them, you'll probably be shocked what they harvested; on the plus side there's no sign they sell it.

Will this work for e-sim in Aus?

Have the x200 pro and it's a great phone
Camera was much better than my s25 ultra
Battery is excellent as well, only con is speaker quality
The global versions usually don't have much bloat compared to Chinese version
will this work fine with vodafone?

Comparing a flagship vs a 5 year old phone?

Yeah, it's an apple and 512gb. Vivo is a competitor, not a market leader. Absolutely the apple should be more expensive. Inflation is not sufficient to counter the 5 year gap (actually with what I paid, even with inflation the apple was cheaper than this)

I know right!? The world is so crazy now. I only paid about $150 for my Nokia.

I'm guessing this will be blocked by Vodafone or Optus.

That'd be likely!

If only Snapdragon (for emulation)
