    They ruined CITI credit cards!

    • +1

Yep - I just cancelled my card prestige last night. Benefited from PayAll for >12m, smashed the unlimited Priority Pass as well as luxury escape 4th night fee. Sad times.. might apply again in few months time when I plan to go on holidays again. Will at least get bonus points

      • +1

        Canceled mine last week!

      • +1

The Payall and PP benefits were removed long time ago, was it not?

    • +2

agree that it has been worsen, but will still keep the MyCard Premier (Citi Premier) from the original Free For Life signature as long as its still free….

    • +1

…and Citi free fee-free international debit card

  • +1

Finally got a Goodies Special Cards offer. Maybe coincidentally I made my first transaction in 6 weeks on Saturday.

Also got a Nespresso $10 back on $70 spend, I'd been hanging out on restocking as there are no cashback or points offers on Nespresso anymore.

    • +1

Same- also got both Special and the Nespresso offer.

  • +1

Not this time for me, thanks.

  • +2

    Targeted, don't have it : (

  • Targeted :(

  • skipped me twice now.

  • Cancelled my NAB credit card last week.

Does the goodies features work with their debit card?

Which account would that be linked to?

    • +6

      Yes works on Debit.
I have the classic transaction account. Zero monthly fee.

  • I got it. There's no activate button, so I guess it's automatically active?

    • +2

Yes, that's right. You simple use your nab card to buy the gift card

  • +2

Thank you! Good to have 20% off on groceries on time of inflation.

  • Not for me. Used it last time this offer was there though

  • Thanks OP. Got this one and rarely check NAB.

  • +1

Does anyone actually buy Special gift cards without cash back? Between Nab and Amex they’ve given me over $100 in a year for nothing.

  • There's no more woolworths?

    • There is a supermarket slayer card, but there site is broken since months. It does not show what stores this card can be used for.

If someone has bought it, can you let us know if the supermarket slayer can be used at Coles/Woolworths?

      • +2

Yes works. Used it on Friday to buy more gift cards.

        • Thanks mate!

        • @fiveferrari

What offers do we have when buying more gift cards from Coles/ Woolies using special gift card?

          • +1

@jaboday423: i think what he mean is just you can use specialgiftcards to purchase giftcards from Coles / Woolies
which you normally cant do it (using giftcards to purchase giftcards)
this is because supermarket treat specialgiftcards as prepaid visa rather than giftcards

            • @littlesoldier: WookieMonster previously noted there are some exceptions to this:-

For example, if you are purchasing some (but not all) gift cards in-store at Woolworths (e.g. Vanilla Mastercard gift card, eBay gift card, Everyday WISH gift card), the checkouts will automatically stop you from using a range of prepaid gift cards as payment methods, including:

              • Activ Visa gift cards and its various cousins (e.g. Category Choice Groceries gift cards, Zip Visa Groceries gift cards)
              • Coles/Vanilla Mastercard gift cards
              • (Vanilla) Visa gift cards
              • TCN eftpos gift cards
              • Perfect eftpos gift cards
              • Westfield eftpos gift cards
              • OnlyONE Visa gift cards

All these gift cards do not function like a normal gift card, because they are functionally Visa/Mastercard/eftpos cards, but attempting to use them to pay for some gift cards triggers a Cancelled - Items Not Allowed error from the checkout as soon as you swipe or tap them.

        • so I could buy $100 worth of special gifts cards - supermarketslayer & get $20 cashback NAB goodies then buy $100 woolies GC & get a further 3% off?

      • Yes used Special Supermarket GC at Coles online yesterday

  • After being skipped for a few times, this time got targeted

  • +1

FYI, the special gift card "tech head" payment hack doesn't seem to work for utilities - origin energy (tried credit card directly, google pay, auspost bill pay) and ActewAGL (tried credit card directly, auspost bill pay). I even tried $99 in case of surcharge miscalculation.

    • +1

Yes tried unsuccessfully to pay SA Water and Energy Australia. I think I used it previously to pay AGL, Powershop and Engie?

    • +1

Yes Tech Head doesn't work for Onkaparinga Rates, Origin Internet or AGL.

      • I guess I'll be using it to buy coffee and milk from Officeworks then 🤣🤣

        • +1

    Got it; thanks OP.

20% off groceries in this day and age is a gift - beats the 10% back @ Amex offer at the moment.

Plus, our local Coles has Cadbury with Bischoff on clearance for $2.50 a block, so all aboard the diabetes express.

  • I have this in my NAB app, so no one has had issues using these at coles or woolies? Had never heard of these gift cards before.

    • +1

No issues, i add it to apple wallet and use like a regular cc/debit card. Might have to download their app first, which i don't mind cause you can manage all the gcs you buy from them there (i've had this promo 3-4 times)

  • Is the special website/app being glitchy for anyone else at the moment? Pages not loading properly, can't log in with correct details?

    • +1

Yeah, I had errors when trying to log in, but it worked after a few tries.

    • +1

my activation bugged out, card was showing but couldn't make any purchases or add to apple wallet. Thankfully resetting the pin did the trick

  • Is there an fee free debit account that I could apply to get on to the NAB goodies please?

  • +1

Didn't get it this time but that's a ripper deal.

FYI you can get the Aussie Explorer card and use it at petrol stations to take a bit of the sting off the higher fuel prices.

    • True, but doesn't really matter where you use it, $20 saved is $20 saved. Unless, of course, you have other ways of getting discount gift cards for Coles/Woolies, then it would make more sense to use this for fuel.

  • Garbage site. Can you get amazon somehow?

    • +1

It will be difficult, because the easiest way to do this was to purchase an Amazon gift card at a retailer, but Amazon gift cards have been disappearing from many retailers over the last 12 months (including Coles, ALDI, Ampol Foodary, Shell Reddy Express, etc).

Someone yesterday said in a different Special deal that you could still purchase them at EG Ampol service stations, but that was surprising to me, as I have not seen Amazon gift cards at the multiple EG Ampol service stations I have been to within the last 12 months.

      • +1

Hmm thanks for the effort. Sounds like better to just do supermarket for woolies/coles.

  • Wow I just ordered the $100 slayer card buy geez their website is crap, hope it all works ok .

  • +1

I also have the $20 off $100 at JB, i should check Goodies more often

  • Thanks, got it too. Got the Slayer card, $100 will disappear easily.

  • going to assume I can use this at Nike in store, bit strange it lists Adidas but not Nike

  • i can't see this offer in my NAB Goodies???

    • It could have been activated already. Just double check the goodies page. Mine was automatically applied.

  • If I purchased the Supermarket Slayer card, will I be able to top up my Opal card at Coles? My assumption was yes, but thought I'd check :)

    • I'm sure yes as you can use Coles gift cards to top up.

  • +3

This offer was in my nab goodies (didn't need activation) but now it's disappeared and I haven't received the cashback yet (I purchased the slayer card). Is this normal or should I be concerned?

    • Same.

      • +4

I took a screenshot of the offer here

I'll be raising a complaint if they don't pay up.

        • Does NAB typically take 14 business days to process and credit cashback?

        • +1

          Thanks for sharing the screenshot!

        • My credit was applied today.

    • +1

Just to update on this, my cashback came through today

      • Same to me. The cashback credit landed this morning

        • Ah hopefully mine comes in next day or two also.
          :)

  • I purchased a jb hifi gift card on the 8th still no $20 cashback should I be worried

    • Wait the 14 business days, if it hasn’t arrived by then, contact NAB

    • Can you purchase these online? Or did you do it in store?

  • Argh had a brain fart moment and purchased $200 supermarket instead of $100 🤦‍♂️

  • -1

First time using NAB goodies, I paid via Apple Pay and selected my NAB visa debit card. Would this transaction still be eligible?

    • Yes. I did the same and got the cashback.

      • +1

Two cashback came through today. Woolworth and special. Still waiting for one from jbhifi. All purchased on the same day so it’s strange that one hasn’t come through

  • -2

Still nothing so is it 14 business days excluding weekends etc

    • +2

      Weekends aren't business days.

  • 14 days today still nothing paid did this on the 8th

  • I hope I still get my cashback as I did one last time and got $20 back nothing says I can’t get this one and yes it was activated.
    Anyone not got it yet?

  • I did 14 april 2026.still haven't received. Last time only took only 3 days.

  • Did mine on the 8th so expected it by now who do you contact to chase it up?

  • I guess 132265.if u received or any update pl update here.

  • My order was on 3rd April, and transaction was processed on 7th April. Still no cashback yet. Previous deal went smoothly, I have no idea. Anyone received $20 yet?

    • Did mine on the 8th still nothing how do you contact them to complain

      • Via app messaging

    • I also did transaction for special on 14th April and 29th April has passed and no cash back yet.

      • +1

You need to wait 14 business days. If they haven’t arrived by May 4, follow up on May 5.

  • Yes got my $20 NAB credit on 17 April for $100 transaction on 13 April.

  • Hmm my JB Hifi CB took 4 days, I purchased Special GC on 23/4 and still haven't received CB today…

    • Update: received CB today!

  • Didn't get my cashback after 14 business days. Called NAB and was told that the offer is 1 per LIFETIME. Because I already got cashback for Special Gift Card last year, so I won't be getting any cashback from the same merchant ever again.

    • +2

They are lying, definitely not the case unless they recently changed the T&C, I had this special gift card cashback twice before. I wasn't targeted this time.

    • Check the Ts and Cs. If it doesn't say that, lodge a complaint and threaten to go to the ombudsman. Usually you will end up with a good result I find.

  • What a crap system.

Trying to buy one but keeps declining my card. What do.

  • Hmm not sure if it's a new restriction, but I tried using 2x Special Supermarket cards to pay (split payment) at Coles today, first card was fine but second one was rejected (transaction not allowed).

  • Hi anyone escalate complaints or any resolution, update?
