  • I see $543. Do prices vary depending on how you have access to JB Business?

Free (no shipping charges) when user choose click and collect.

    • Yes it's good when the stock is at the store for you to just buy over the counter or click and collect. Some times i just hate waiting for shipping.

Blue color is not available from my JB business hey

  • That's an amazing price, but it probably should be noted that this is for people with a "corporate benefit" JB business account (whatever that is), as my JB business login doesn't work for that URL. (Plus I see $598 on the business site, so we must be on the worst tier anyway!)

    • If you have Origin electricity, gas or nbn, you can access JB Business poetal from the rewards section. A few auper funds alao offer this.

      • Ohhh that's amazing, thanks - I do have that… although I wish you hadn't told me! ;)

  • Any comments on what is a proper "bargain" price for these? I'm thinking…$340 or $360 and I'd consider it

    • Aony ebay atore had aony refurbished ones for $300+ few weeks back.

  • Why these r so expensive, because of the brand? Or is it really something that gonna blow my mind? Nura true pro user

    • It's just the usual Sony tax. Sound quality and mic quality are good though, but the quality of the headband/hinge is a bit crap still.

      • The hinge is fine. I wear these to sleep because of toddlers shouting in the other room and it's never had an issue being pressed wedged inbetween two pillows. ANC is the best thing about these cans.

    • Headphones are very subjective i.e. no one size fits all. I found Bose Quietcomfort Ultra more comfortable than these, as Sony has relatively shallow earpads. Aound and ANC ia at par, Sony might have slight edge but not a noticeable one though unless you are a dewak or critique 🙂

      • i have the ultra2, and tried both in shop, the bose has much deeper ear cup, which is why the comfort. the main down side with bose is it only has 3 band EQ for a flagship. otherwise i think it is decent (only when you get it on heavy discount like sub 450$)

    • Nura true pro looks like an TWS. this is full size over ear headphone.

expensive because it is main stream brand flag ship product, 80% of it probably went into the marketing budget. but with that said, given the performance and whole package, there isnt many similar products on the market, thats why it is "pricy"

      • Thanks.

Stay with your NuraTrue Pro's if you value the sound quality, I also have NTP's and you will notice the lack of clarity and bass tightness immediately

      • Many issues now with it.

  • I bought a pair of these recently refurbished at $350 on the ebay seconds store. I passed them onto my brother as the noise cancelling aspect is the only good thing about these headphones even after trying to EQ them into sounding "decent enough". Coming from a pair of buds that just blow me away in sound quality (Denon Perl Pro's a.k.a NuraTrue Pro), the lack in detailed sound resolution and bass tightness just underwhelmed me too much.

Great at noise cancelling on public transport though, and the talk through capability is incredibly advanced. The thinness of the pads get annoying after about 90 minutes or so for me.

    • Have you ever tried the older Sony XM3/4/5 to compare?

      • I have not, sorry

  • paid 2 months ago at the good guys $500

  • Now priced at $499.67 inc GST.

  • I've been rocking my set of XM4 which i got the other week for $270 from Officeworks on clearance. So i can't figure paying $454 for these XM6 set. It will have to be about $300 for me to figure that. It will be some time before that happens.
