Hello Ozbargainers, stay calm, eligible current members who have active plans will receive their offer automatically. Please bear with us while we roll this out and apply the offers to active memberships. We expect it to take a week or so and we are focusing on members who are due to renew in the next week first. Anyone that was due to renew today already had their offer applied yesterday.

Once applied to your account you should see the discount on the My Membership page. We hope this helps you with the current cost of living pressures.

    Find out more at Onepass.com.au.

    • @moocher can you add this to OP.

      or @mods.

      • +1

i realised now that i had automatic renewal, thanks for the link, i just cancelled my yearly subscription.

    • +1

If I just started the free trial on Friday… how do I get this deal?
      Talk about timing haha

    • Come off it. What you really hope is that new/returning customers will forget about it so you can automatically charge $40 for the following year. Trying to hide a common business tactic by calling it "help" is really scummy. I wont be signing up just on principle. If you really wanted to help with the cost of living their would be no auto renewal at $40 🙄

      • +1

Whilst I get your sentiment, if you don't live near these places even at $40 it pays for itself. Provided you shop at them.

Add fuel prices … but that Kmart dog bed not being included hurts a little considering I have had larger packages heavier delivered. And I would add a few things potentially to the purchase.

    • +2

My membership is active but set to not renew at the end of my membership in oct. Does that still work as ‘active’?

Ive reactivated the subscription just now (15/04), hoping I still qualify for the $20 annual renewal though it doesn’t show it yet .. :)

    • My membership is set to renew on Friday but I still don't have the offer applied - could you please advise?

    • my membership set to cancel today and it has not received this offer. hmmm….do i need to join again?

  • +1

Out of curiosity, is the main benefit of OnePass the free delivery?

    • +20

And 5x flybuys if you C&C

      • Ahhh that's what I was looking for, thanks!

      • +1

In store too, scan onepass and flybuys card.

        • Can you scan both??

          • +2

@bauser99: you can, might not need to. but they only both appear on the screen when you scan both so who knows

            • +5

@Winny182: Staff at Bunnings often recommend I scan both, just in case

              • +2

@RichardMelbourne: Mine has worked fine from the start just scanning once. I have moved to the bunnings app QR code now and it still fine. Added bonus it doesnt prompt me for a digital receipt or paper one anymore. Its automatic for both.

      • +1

5x Flybuys is equivalent to 2.5%, yeah?

    • +1

      yes

    • +8

That's right, free delivery for most small items at Kmart, Target, Priceline, Bunnings, Officeworks etc

      • +14

or 20kg bags of garden supplies from bunnings lel

        • +4

Yeah I do it it multiple orders the 20kg bag of soil as they have the weight restrictions of 22kg I think! Haven’t had any issue!

          • +3

@ian1095: Yea it's a bit of a funny loophole, sending separate orders of soil or rocks instead of adding 5 to an order. Genuinely I do prefer to go pick it up myself, but there have been a couple of times I just couldn't get there.

        • +11

They mailed me up a 20kg bag of pool salt from Melbourne somewhere to Brisbane. Glad I didn't pay for that.

        • +1

Multiple 20kg bags in separate orders*

      • +1

Last 3 or 4 times no free delivery, as it immediately marked as not available online.
        As that recently https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/955435

        • +4

common for clearance items I've found. esp with kmart

    • +2

for me it was the saved receipts for easy returns

      • +3

For Bunnings, you have to scan the QR code within the Bunnings app, rather than just scanning your FlyBuys card, or else it won't save the receipt. I got stung by that, thinking they were all saving in there, and then couldn't find them when I went to do a return.

        • +3

I've had no issues scanning Flybuys or OnePass cards from my google wallet at Bunnings and receipts saving in the OnePass app. Need to make sure Flybuys is linked.

It still works even if your OnePass membership has lapsed, you just don't get bonus points.

          • +2

@jessed: Oh I didn't even think about that - they're probably saved in my Flybuys app, just not my Bunnings app. Good shout!

            • +2

@keeperofthegood: All good mate. Was in the same boat as you so I searched through my emails and all the apps!

          • +1

@jessed: Do you mean in the activity tab in the OnePass app?

I'm not sure that counts as a receipt tbh? It looks like one at first but at the bottom it says "Not a proof of purchase - Please keep your in-store receipt as proof of purchase".

            • +2

@Ezio: Interesting. I see exactly your comment, but directly below that is a QR code which I've used in-store to return an item with no issue. YMMV I guess.

      • +3

        Gotta get the receipt! /grego

    • +1

Click and Colect at bunnings sometimes work out better and quicker than walking the warehouse for each item.

      Sometimes.

      • Not for my local bunnings. Took them 3 business days to have my order ready using the OnePass 2 hour click and collect option.

    • -3

Hardly a benefit when quite a few things can't be delivered but they can still be collected from the store. Even $20 is way too expensive for what you get with this so called OnePass

    • +1

Free post, selecting items that are available online, though theres less items available for free shipping online now. Avoiding going to Kmart, buying things from bunnings with free post so you dont have to go there and look for things.

  • so if my renewal was in 2 days i should be able to do this after my renewal?

    I already have a $20 renewal active

    • Last time I do this, yes. Not sure if still the case for now

      • I’m in the same boat, I’m already on a 30 day free trial with $20 annual renewal.

I got the email about this promo but I was already getting $20 off, happy to pay another $20 for an extra 12 months but I doubt it stacks that way?

  • +8

I see it on the homepage but clicking it just takes you into the membership portal and does nothing. Can't see anything in there and can't see it being applied in "My Activity". Anyone else seeing the same?

    • +3

Sounds like its been applied automatically depending on what type of plan you're on atm.

  • +1

Seem not enough people join with their yearly half price membership.

  • +6

    OK, quick napkin math:

If you're spending > $1000 per year at Bunnings/Kmart/Target/Officeworks combined; the extra 4 points per dollar earned would give you 4,000 points - equivalent to $20, that covers this discounted fee.

    • +2

I checked the other day and I've got about $700 in FlyBuys dollars that I just haven't got around to spending. Really need to cash some of that out!

      • +6

Hah, my missus won't ever let it accumulate that high - with inflation, her view is to spend them as quickly as we get them.

We usually just turn it into Flybuys cash in the app every time we cross ~$100 in value and just take it off the next shop at Coles.

        • +2

Would probably be smart. Or perhaps some cash off my next Bunnings purchase, since you can't walk through the front door there without dropping $300 it seems…

    • +2

for bunnings alone i believe its better to get a free ABN then signing up for a non credit trade account. Takes minimal effort to say/show you are in a relevant field.

    • Yeah it's not exactly spectacular.

  • Thanks OP.

  • good timing\

Your monthly OnePass membership payment was unsuccessful.

Please update your payment details to keep your membership active.

We’ll automatically reattempt payment. If we’re unable to process a successful payment over the next 2 weeks, your membership will be cancelled.

    • +1

how do i actually apply the 6months as a lapsing member??

  • Thanks

  • have a reminder to cancel in 2 weeks. maybe i can afford it now. but my last one was free with a OnePassMobile plan.

  • no need for user intervention for existing subscribers?

    re-read the post! thanks.

  • +13

Thanks OP. But I've just turned on my annual renewal and it shows still $40 for next annual membership? not "automatic $20 off", anyone knows why? And yes, I am an active annual OP member as of yesterday 13/4/2026 and my current membership not expired until Nov 26.

    • Came in to ask the same question; my renewal is due 01/06 - it's showing as "Next payment: $40". Does anyone know if Wesfarmers/OnePass have a rep on here we can tag?

      • +8

I've sent a message online to the OP customer service to enquire. See how they will reply.

    • Yeah same. Have an active membership but next payment is still $40

    • same

    • Me three.

    • Also me….

      • Same

    • +3

when someone gets a response - could you post back here?

Same boat, renews in October but currently states a $40 annual renewal :(

    • I'm in the same boat, following along

    • -1

same here but wasn't the full price originally $60?

    • following

      • me 2

        • +2

answer seems to be above from the rep, they are still applying the discount

    • I just had a look at my one pass today and it still shows $40 for next annual membership. I wonder how long it takes to apply this $20 to existing memberships.
I'm an active annual member with automatic renewal turned on. Expiry is March 2027. Perhaps I'll be the last in queue!

    • yep same, following for solution to this

  • Thanks OP!

  • +1

The delivery is ultra slow! That's the main downside. always 1 week

    • I think it depends who they send it with. I've had items arrive from halfway across the country in 3 days but items from halfway across the city take over a week.

    • I almost always got the next day delivery with Bunnings, there is one time the deliver at the same day. I think it depend on local stock.

    • If Kmart deliver with GoPeople, it’s next day. They even deliver on weekends. Little known courier company showing the big players how it should be done

      • Yes, Kmart using GoPeople, not so bad. Bunnings uses AusPost, took a week. Officeworks took 3 days, etc. Either way, been on Amazon Prime already, anything seems slow to me.

  • +5

I’m on free trail, does that mean I don’t get the 6 months applied automatically?

    • +1

Same question. Trial period currently, wondering whether its worth cancelling and doing 6 month trial (if they let me).
Trial has $20 annual renewal currently, but sounds like with 6 month trial, may be able to score another $20 off after trial; else 18 months for $40 (but maybe I get 12/24 months for $20/40 now).
Anyone cancelled a trial and restarted receiving this deal? 6 months

  • +5

    Ferrari voice: We are monitoring.

    • +1

Still showing $40 for me, no discount applied

      • +2

Yeah i applied a $20 discount when those codes were floating around a few weeks ago. I'm wondering if my expiry will go to 17 October 2026 or if the new 12 months will start first…

  • +1

If you're an annual member who had auto renewal turned off, do you just get nothing?

  • +3

My next annual payment due in 73 days is listed at $40.

I'm confused like some other commenters here.
Wondering if I could like, cancel and rejoin right now to get it 🤔

    • EDIT: Got the email everyone seems to be getting, Nice :D

  • +4

In my membership, it just says next payment amount: $40, there is no indication of any discount will be applied.

Edit: took screenshots (save as PDF) of my membership and the promo page, just in case.

  • +1

hrmm this isn't working for me. im annual member but nothing is being applied

    • +1

      same

  • Is there a problem with the website. I am registering as a new user, it does not give me a catcha, just simply a tick on the "i am not a robot" but when i say next, it fails saying "recaptcha failed"?

    • +2

Do you have a VPN on?
Lately I'm finding some e-commerce sites are blocking certain VPN servers more and more.

    • I’m having issues too. Created account but can’t log in. I’ve raised it with Support. The website might be overloaded with the amount of people creating an account for this offer. Also, no I don’t have VPN.

  • If I'm on a monthly plan then I suppose nothing to be done to get 6 months free extension (apart from maintaining payment information)

  • +4

Too bad Catch doesnt exist anymore

  • For folks on existing annual plan, still showing the renewal at $40. System is only giving this $20 renewal promo if the plan renews in the next 30 days.

Hopefully they can fix the ‘bug’

    • following

  • My renewal still showing $40…….

  • +3

365 day change of mind returns is crazy. Who keeps an unused item for that long to then realise they don't want/need it?

    • +1

Easy to buy a lot of cheap rubbish on Kmart

    • +2

For me it's been convenience more than anything. I have an esky I've been meaning to return for like 2 months, no mad rush. Returned an unopened mower about 6 months after purchase bc I bought a different, better deal, one and used that instead. I buy a lot of stuff for my grandmother who doesn't get out too much anymore, and she's a goose, she'll back and forth 100 times, so when she gets the wrong sized cardigan for the fifth time because she just won't learn, well, I don't have to race it back to the store, which is nice.

  • +4

When is it safe to cancel membership so we don't get charge after the 6 months?

    • +8

I just cancelled mine after getting the free trial and still works
You're in your free trial period, so feel free to still use your OnePass benefits until your trial ends on 15 October 2026. After that, your subscription will no longer be active within your account

      • +2

Just the answer i was looking for. Thank you. Now I don't need a reminder in 6 months to cancel.

Here's the message i got when cancelling:

        Ready to cancel?
We’re sad to see you go.
Your membership will end on 17 October 2026.
Your cancellation will come into effect at the end of your current payment period (or trial) and you won’t be charged a cent after this. If you have a pending plan change, this will also be cancelled.
There are no refunds or credits for partial membership periods or unused benefits. Please see our Terms and Conditions for information on payments and cancellations.

  • +4

I have expired account , logged on and chose 6 months trial but when selected Apple Pay it shows up with $40 to be charged…..

    • +8

If you're trying to activate this on an existing OnePass account with a lapsed membership, select Annual membership and use the promo code FUELCOMBAT26FREEBIEGLHF - this will make sure the checkout value is $0 (on Apple Pay) and 6 months free trial is activated (182 days)
