Love the website, thanks for making it and sharing it. Super helpful!

    • +3

So the website belongs to OP?

      • asking the same

      • +7

Well considering OP is now in the penalty box and so is the previous OP who posted for ozcruising I’m guessing they have a habit of sockpuppeting.

      • +1

Op posted the deal via a link to "his own website" he allegedly created to compare cruise prices - which the only booking engine was Oz Cruising. You can view the details via the revisions tab if you ever so wish.

  • Great Website Excellent Job

    Cheaper than a nursing home!

    • +3

Not really, daily fee at Nursing home is 66.8 x 14 = $935

      • +10

        A Good Nursing Home.

        • +3

The basic daily fee is strictly regulated by the Australian Federal Government and is not set by the nursing home.

But hey, let me tell you a tip… NDIS is not mandated and they can charge premium as they please.

@Fredfloresjr: The world is awful! The vulnerable get preyed on! And the only solution is to run through the streets with a naked Grandma!

            • +1

              @SarcasticEmu: Welcome to society…

            • @SarcasticEmu: This sounds like something Korvo would say in the intro to Solar Opposites.

              • @bootlace: Fortunately, that show was completely fictional, no basis in reality whatsoever. Anyway, quick tangent: what’s your take on ant farms? And do you have any medical conditions I should know about that might… complicate exposure to a shrink ray? I'd hate for you to end up like exploding head Jack; don't worry it's just a name, it was his knees that exploded.

          • @Fredfloresjr: I’m not sure I understand your tip.

It is very hard to be on the NDIS and in a nursing home.

  • +1

    Carnival…

    i'll stick to Bali thanks.

    • -2

Carnival cruises in Australia aren't the same as Carnival cruises in the USA from a clientele perspective.

      • +2

So it’s not full of bogans? And the food tastes good ?

        • +2

Foods shit - loads of options are paid. Free options are mostly bulk slop (like curries, etc).

          • -2

            @ATangk: Is the food bad?

Can you get some good meat tho?

I'm considenring but if I can't stick to keto easily I may not go.

      Everyone's a winner then

Damn got baited by the url

  • Any bargain for flying to SG?

    • Scoot. We recently got SYD to sin for $256 ow for this cruise.

  • +8

There's gotta be cheaper ways to get norovirus

    • -2

😭 not funny. Genuinely wanna do my first cruise, genuinely terrified of getting norovirus again 😭

      • +10

Your first cruise shouldn't be 14 days long

      • +1

I would recommend picking a short cruise if you haven't done one before. Two nights into a two week cruise is a bad time to realise you actually hate them…

    • Yeah paying $$$ to spend 14 days cruising in a diesel guzzling floating petri dish isn't my idea of a vacation either!

  • +3

    80% sea days

    • +2
      • In port: 43 hours = 13.2%
      • At sea: 282 hours = 86.8%
This is why selecting the right ship is so important.
      • +1

Yep hate sea days. Just did 14 days around Japan and 13 were port days. So much sight seeing.

        • Would you recommend the one you went on and mind saying which one it was? Thinking this would be a good way to see Japan, thanks

          • @DeeGee: Princess Cruises operate in Japan from March/April to October each year. There are 9 days, 10 days and shorter ones. We did back to back 9 days cruises before. Fantastic. You can choose the itinerary you like. I think they are all pretty good especially if you haven't been to Japan. But I do like sea days. These itineraries are very busy.

      • And the right drinks package. If a cruise has many port days I’d be drinking off ship with no package.

  • +7

Like being stuck in an RSL you can’t leave. No thanks.

    • +6

But while you're stuck in the RSL you can do it in the pool, with cocktails.

      • +4

An RSL with pool and cocktails… Maybe that can boost numbers instead of bloody pokies?

        • +2

          They have pokies too

          • @SummerZero: Some cruise line casinos have Roulette wheels with 3 zeros.

  • +1

We did a trip on this (comedy cruise). Ship is a bit old and worn out. One of the staff was saying they don’t sail in USA because of the same reason.

  • +1

Would not recommend staying 14 nights on this ship although this is a good price.

  • $100 off $1000 in NAB Goodies. Edit: actually Nevermind. I imagine it doesn’t apply as you’d pay thru ozcruising.

  • Hmm gratuities included or extra?

    • Gratuities can be removed on most lines. I thought any ship starting or finishing in Oz had to have them auto included

      • Yeah fair enough. We've passed on the cruise anyway due to flight costs for a family of 4.

  • Whats the petri dishes like?

    • -1

      You need to live more.

      • I assume he will by not getting infected by every disease known to man

    • You’ll be okay if you wear your normal bubble suit.

  • Check other sites as well before using these guys. Also make sure you check out the ozcruising Facebook group and be informed about the customer service you should expect.

    • Any other sites that you can recommend please @tnarg1701 ?

      • +1

I’ve recently bought a cruise on cruisegeru. I dunno yet if it’s any good.

  • Puzzled as to why this specific cruise itinerary and date has remained unsold at this or lower price for months now? Why only this date and route?
