    What is the bargain here?

    • bargainhunt2020

      Pretty late in the game.

    it's just $1199 on pre-order via [JB] (https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/motorola-signature-5g-512…)

    $1499 seems over the top

Plus you get $300 Tradein bonus on top of trade in value of your device. So net cost of $899 if pre-ordered via JB Hifi. You can stck with 10% discounted GC from Woolies to make the deal even better :)

You only pay $966 ($69x4 +$690) for the phone, and you get 4 months of a free mobile plan if you cancel in the fourth month.

    • It's the same price and $300 trade in discount at Harvey Norman.

  • I don't see any reason to buy motorola at this price point unless it's sort of foldable.

  • JB already adjusted their price, but Samsung pre order was still better value

      Samsung has Motorola's to preorder?

  • The ETC is atrocious. They make you pay for not only the cost of the plan but also the device. Avoid like plague unless you want to stick around for 2 years on an overpriced phone plan.

    • Not true. I got a 'free' iPhone 16 on a 24-month deal and only paid $690 when I ported out my number in 4th month.

      • It literally says so in the CIS.

would rather wait for Graphene OS device in the future

    • Same here, very close to what I want but at that price I would prefer a clean os. (Not that moto is particularly bad)

Was interested until I saw it had no thermal management, over phones overheating just by using google drive
