CamelCamelCamel.Nooooo
I wanted the round one, you got my hopes up for nothing!
Will check out this $250 voucher to see if it is included for things on what I want to spend, so cheers for that!
Lego has run for the bank roll, charging incresingly more for deteriorating quality, plugging collectors who are banking on these sets somehow being worth $$$ in the future whilst drowning the market.
Yep, switched to alternate bricks a long time ago, same quality, 1/10th of the price. :)
@SuBw00FeR where do you buy from? I have two boys and I'm completely over the ridiculous cost of Lego.
Just from Ali? It are there other alternatives
Ali is cheapest for Australia now. Every other third party split the shipping costs so now its like double the price of ali usually.
What you mentioned are not collectors but scalpers.
No, Scalpers buy limited items such as tickets. Buying a widely available toy today, holding it, then reselling down the line is not scalping. It’s speculating. And it probably isn’t worth it given the increasing saturation/supply of new lego product to compete with.
Is this the first or second Death Star? They've included rooms from both which is terribly confusing.
Why does it even need a trash compactor. They're in space, just throw it overboard. Sheesh!
maybe to minimise space debris?
Good point. Tie fighters are notoriously fragile.
Or they could just burn it with their huge fusion reactor. The silly trash compactor still annoys me to this day.
Maybe it compacts the rubbish then throws it into the reactor
I assume a space station this large would have some gravitational pull, maybe it would just float back to the surface. Maybe they do shoot it off into space but they need to compact it first so they can shoot it as one big slug with enough velocity to escape the gravitational pull ie escape velocity.
Oh sure, I agree it's got decent gravity, but they also have the means to control gravity. And they have tractor beams which I assume could push rubbish out into space. On Bespin, C3PO was almost tossed into a small furnace before Chewie rescued him. Surely the Death Star would have them too. My only hope is that Lucas makes another version without the silly trash compactor. A new hope indeed.
What we really need is a prequel-prequel trilogy explaining the waste management in the Star Wars universe.
What is this? A space station for ants??
the Derek Zoolander Center for Kids who can't read. Good.?
In intergalactic form
no no no not ants!
There's a used one in that listing for $1,150.00 if anyone wants to try that lol.
