Thought this was a pretty great deal for some easy free points, simply by adding your Velocity number to your Inspring Vacations account!

The Bonus Velocity Points are awarded as follows:

1,000 Velocity Points, 30 days after linking your accounts, and
An additional 500 Velocity Points at 90, 180, 270 and 365 days after linking your account (500 Points at each 90, 180, 270 and 365 day interval, provided your accounts remain linked and you remain opted into Inspiring Vacations marketing), totalling up to 2,000 additional Velocity Points.

Eligible customers can earn up to 3,000 Bonus Velocity Points by linking their Velocity Frequent Flyer membership number to their Inspiring Vacations account, opting in to receive Inspiring Vacations marketing communications, and selecting at least one of the following email categories: Events, Inspiring Content, Cruise, New Releases or Promotions.

You must keep your accounts linked, remain opted in to Inspiring Vacations marketing for the full 12 month period and have selected at least one email category to receive the total 3,000 bonus Velocity Points.

    Looks like a decent deal if you use a non-primary email address for the email spam or use filters etc.

    How weird, free points for just linking accounts? Asides for marketing emails, what does Inspiring Vacations get out of this?
    I wonder how much data Velocity provide to Inspiring Vacations to make this worthwhile for them..

      No, it works out to about $30 towards a flight though conversion value varies a lot. Better value on reward seats, upgrades etc.

        Cheers. I had heard it wasn't as easy as it used to be to book int'l flights with Virgin, I managed to snag a SQ singapore-frankfurt business fare with them in 2023 but times might have changed.

          Interesting fact about singapore air, they release their award seats to KrisFlyer a few days before Virgin get access, which makes sense that they look after their own first, but makes it harder to get a flight via Virgin

        when I tried to link up my velocity account it gave me an error saying that the name on the velocity account number I was trying to add didn't match the account name of the Inspiring Travel account.
