  • Very good price!

    Same price at JB.

  • For what it's worth, I was having a hideous time getting it to work with my Moto, and I abandoned it for mobile. Seems like Apple phones ok, Samsung flagships should be fine/easy work around. Other Androids YMMV.

Did work with my DSLR, great sound!

    • S23 Ultra didn't work

      • With or without the receiver?

        • With, it did not show in the app. I found reviews suggesting compatibility issues.

          • @sqheaven: Hmm strange. With the original DJI Mic receiver, it just appears as a USB mic in the camera app. No Mimo app needed. I would have thought the new receiver would work the same way.

  • good deal. i personally hate how bulky the case is though

Making from $3 mics and $3 transmitters with some magic encoding … yeah it becomes expensive but that's how it costs..

Do I need the charging case? It's $39 diff.

    • +1

Nope, the mics come with their own little USB C charging dock. The case is more for convenience.

      • Pretty sure the title says charging case and the video shows exactly like an air pod case for charging. I mean if they can last long enough, I might no need the case tho. It says 10hr running time.

        • Yeah, I meant convenience in the way that you wont need to have multiple cables to charge them

          • @celery juice: and reduced the risk of losing stuff over time - easier to manage 1 charging case in a pouch.

u can say the same about the iphone

  • While this is a decent deal, use case really matters here.

I tried using these initially to film some car content, while it "works", they're missing a few features that the Mic 2 has around gain etc.

For vlogs etc, I'm sure this is great. For any vehicle filming content around capturing exhaust noises or engine / noises, I'd probably skip this and go for the Mic 2.

    • interesting, I guess if you're doing live streaming/zero editing the onboard NR is an issue, what's the issue with gain? Most video editors now have very good NR features, I prefer to capture the unproessed audio when shooting and clean it up in post.

      • I was going to ask the same question, did he record the sound with noise reduction on or off?

    • I was precisely going to buy this to put one in the intake and one clipped onto the license plate at the back for car noises.

What issues did you find? Do they have a lot of clipping with loud noises?

  • Thanks OP. Been eyeing this for awhile. Finally pulled the trigger, now I've just gotta wait for a good deal on the Osmo Nano before I can use it.

  • its only a $20 saving from its normal price, to pull the trigger now then use it in a few months, is it really worth the saving?

  • $124 Delivered directly from Amazon AU.

  • Coming soon to an insufferable night life influencer near you

    • Or narcissistic annoyer XD

      • What do you do? Street streamer

  • This or rode wireless go II ?

  • They released mic mini 2 for $20 more..

    • Mic Mini 2 doesn't seem to be much improved from this Mini 1, but for only $20 more it's probably worth getting the 2 over the 1.
