lmao, perfect timing. I somehow smashed the volume button (both of them are one piece) out of my Pixel 7 the other day, ordered a replacement from AliExpress to slot in, and I've been doing perfectly fine with the little digital assistant button thing, but this is even better.

Legitimately might use in the car for music though when it's time to skip a song and I don't want to have to grab my phone out of the side door and (profanity) around until I find the song I want take a single finger off the wheel, because of course I've never, and would never, do that, or even adjust the radio any time short of being at the red lights.

Legend. Wasnt going to buy due to shipping cost. Pulled the trigger after seeing your post. Must try and remember it in future.

    • Thanks, this is the way.

    • I'm never lucky to get free delivery with my OnePass. It's always Available for Click & Collect and in-store purchase only. Can you please elaborate on what is 'Compare with 1 other seller'?

Doesn't appear to be available anymore, but when something on the Kmart website is available to order from Target (or a marketplace seller) you will see a compare option below the Add to bag button.

You can check the product below to see what that option looks like.

Rings go on your finger, right? Does it adjust for size? What size hand does it suit?

The open elastic mouth design is suitable for all people

    • Yes.

Just take 1 second to look at the images of the product?

      • I did, it looked bulky and cumbersome, why I asked.

Do you have any knowledge to share?

Just managed to order one delivered free (onepass) by clicking to "One other seller has it". Looks like Target is gonna deliver that to me. Woohoo. Great! Thx.

Does anyone know if this works on Kindle? I find it really annoying having to tap the screen to turn the page when I am using it on a tablet stand.

    • +1

The one user review says it works well on their Kindle.

      • +1

Awesome and thanks for the reply!

      • @crytotosaurus I don't know if it will work on the Kindle. I read the review. They might be pertaining to the Kindle app on an android/iphone device?

I tried connecting it to both iPhone and Android and the ring sends swipe gestures as part of the software OS's accessibility features (swipe up, down, left or right).

I connected it to my Kobo, it doesn't work.

Still handy for having a tablet/phone mount beside my bed, have it hold my phone, and I can use the ring to control page turning while I lie down. Since it's swipe gestures being sent, it works for the Kindle app, Libby, indyreads and I guess pretty much any reading app because they all support swipe gestures on a smartphone.

  • I got one as I have a use case for it - I’d previously bought one off Ali express that supposedly does up down, forward back, camera shutter - but I couldn’t get it to work with my iPhone. It only made the volume go up and down. Has anyone tried this one with an iPhone? I want it to do page forward / backward if possible.

    • It does but you have to enable accessibility and be ok with the persistent UI on the screen.

      • Thanks for the reply. Is that the circle thing that appears on the screen? (when accessibility is on?)

  • too bad it does not look waterproof
would use sth small to scroll while watching tiktok & cooking
    tiktok keeps stopping at ads

    • +3

Don't watch tiktok while cooking. Problem solved.

  • Could it be paired to a PC and used as a presentation remote?

Edit: I just realised my work laptop's pen can do this

Anyone figured out how / an app to make the buttons be usable as volume up / down on android? Cheers!! :)

    • +1

You hold the left and right buttons respectively.
But I would like to use it switch songs. Can't seem to get it to do that. Open to advice

      • I wonder if this will work?
I use it to map buttons on my Google TV Streamer.

        • +1

Didn't for me, my phone isn't rooted so maybe that's it, but it wouldn't let me remap the buttons on the device, wouldn't even detect the device in app.

      • Dude! You're a legend, I tried everything and multiple apps…except holding the buttons down lol.

Mine skips (or goes back) songs with just a press, did that out the gate. Does your's not? Are you Android or iOS? I've got both, but I'm on Android. I can sync one of the rings up to an iPhone and mess around if you need :)

Yeah I had the exact same idea as you but i didnt realise this is literally just a brainrot scrolling remote, not a media remote for music.
