Mine was cancelled straight away, no discounted offer appeared for me.

    • Ah gotcha — not sure if it’s related, but I first tried the “4 Months Free Uber One Membership” OzB deal and it blocked me since I already had an active sub.

After that I went to cancel, and that’s when this discounted annual offer popped up for me. Might be coincidence, but worth a shot.

Also I was on normal monthly membership before I tried to cancel.

Mine’s an annual plan, and I still have 7 months left.

  • +4

Worked for me. Mine was 50%

  • +3

These seem to vary, i got a 45% off (i think it was), others have reported different numbers.

  • +6

My offer was $17.98 for 12 months. Happy to pay that.

    • Oh wow Amazing, Great to hear :)

      • +1

        Luck of the draw.

    • +1

I got offered the same, felt nice to cancel it anyway!

    • +3

Enough to keep you on the platform with the illusion you are getting deals on an already overpriced service! Congrats!!

  • +1

Wow mine was 80% off, thanks OP!

    • +1

Your Welcome, great to hear that the % can go higher too :)

    • +1

got the same one as $17.98 for 12 months. 85% off ;)

  • +6

They were happy to be rid of me apparently - no offer.

  • +2

    Worked for me 60% off.

I think this might be related to how often you use uber

  • +1

Does not work if you have commbank yello offer which was 6 months it just cancels right away without any offer

    • +1

      Same.

  • +2

30% here. Still a discount so took it. Thanks OP

  • +1

I got 70% off back in October ….

  • +1

60% off my annual membership which renews in Dec. Thanks OP!

  • +2

Had an 85% offer which got my annual price closer to $17 odd dollars?

This was for cancelling today fyi

  • I saw this, but went with the 4 months free instead.

  • +1

    Got 50%, thanks <3

  • I know free Uber one trials have dried up but depending on your needs I have been having free trials for last 18 months

    • I'm still new to this but yeah the free Uber one trials are pretty good I'm on the latest 4 month one.. So I'm good until mid August very nice

    • Exactly, paying anything is a rough sell when we kept getting drip-fed free trials

  • 60% off renew in dec

  • +1

Got the 70% off deal. Thanks

  • It asked me are you sure like 3 times, is the discount on the 3rd no or 1st?

  • Is it worth it ?

  • 50% off for me and renews in a few days! Thanks OP!

  • Damn got 30% off, $5.5 a month

  • +1

I cancelled the day before my monthly subscription renewed and got 90% off the next 3 months (specifically, refunding $8.99 from the $9.99 fee).

If you get this, you'll still see "Renews [one month from now] for $9.99" in the app which is a bit misleading - it's actually $9.99 with a $8.99 refund.

  • 30% for me, i wonder if they have rules to discount based on how much a user spends on their platform or something

  • I got 50% off.

  • Standing 50% off annual membership offer, but went to cancel anyway, no sweetener.

  • Confirms that it worked for me

  • +1

Who ever is in charge of the retention metric at Uber is having a wild day for sure

  • +1

No offer for me which is a shame cause I spend a buttload on uber eats

EDIT: scratch that, I got 50% off. Keep clicking ‘continue to cancel’ through a few screens.

  • +2

Got the 85% off offer for my annual membership for $17

  • +1

Nah~ Never pay for uber one

    • Well, is there a way to get it for free these days?

  • +1

Worked for me thanks OP, 70% discount charged on next billing date. $35 for 12 months.

Normally use Uber app for Uber eats, had to download Uber Eats app then click Uber one and follow cancel prompts then I was offered

  • 2,000 saved using uber one, only 60% off

  • What reason did you choose for cancellation? Especially asking those who got 85% discount :)

    • +1

I chose price of membership I believe was first choice.

  • +1

got 85% for 12 months, nice one OP. i picked not enough uber one benefits for cancellation reason

  • -1

Anyone pay with gift cards? I only ever want to use to use them to pay with Uber. Never giving them card details ever again. But I got offered 70% off yearly for 35 odd which is pretty good because I used a few of those $20 off $40 Coles deals.

  • I checked my Uber One account in the Uber Eats app even though I wasn’t a current subscriber or cancelling, and was offered 80% off for an annual sub. So it’s definitely worth checking even if you’re not a current subscriber.

  • Cancelled and got no offer, expired today and wondering if there's any other trials or discounts to try before reapplying etc.

  • +1

    Got 85% off.
