take6

Hi Ozbargainers,

Quick deal tonight, just clearing out the last of our 2026 dated Diclofenac. This has been my go to neck pain relief for a number of years and is a huge seller at our Pharmacy. We have around 80x boxes left and I thought I'd clear them out to make room for the new stock arriving in the next week or so.

Item: 40x Diclofenac 12.5mg, Exp: End July 2026
Price: $11.99 (after code)
Code: 6off
Delivery: FREE
Link: https://pharmacysavings.com.au/products/40x-diclofenac-rapid…

I've added a couple of shorter dated add on's if anyone wants any for a few dollars more (Ibuprofen, Period Pain Relief etc) which are common meds sold commonly with diclo (do not combine, do not take together, refer to usage and warning instructions on product boxes) - please see the drop down menu on the listing page if interested (same take6 code applies).

And of course, once again the "in before anyone asks" links of our ongoing top sellers.

  • Are these good for back pain when on long flights?

    • I would describe them as a step up from ibuprofen, so good for this.

  • Diclofenac might be commonly sold with ibuprofen and naproxen but they generally shouldn’t be taken together as they are all NSAIDs so they are not really complementary (whereas for example you might commonly combine one of them with panadol)

    • Thanks - I used a poor choice of words, complimentary in terms of sales, not use…I will amend.

  • We are on Ozbargain so it should just say back pain relief

  • This doesnt actually seem that cheap op, i can get cheaper every day at chemist warehouse at twice the strength.

    • They are $8.99 per 30 tabs, in store, behind counter (speak with pharmacist) not delivered. We can match or better this, but you are comparing an apple to an orange.

      • Hmm i swear ive bought in bottle before but fair and point taken. If i wasnt about to go on holidays id take you up on your offer for the simple reason i like you :) your always fair and respond in a nice genuine way.

In 2 weeks after holiday maybe :)

      • Do they expire in July 2026 though?

      • Those $8.99 are 25mg tablets though. As yours are 12.5mg, you are selling 20 tabs (equivalent) for $11.99 short dated (delivered) vs 30 tabs for $8.99 (pick up) at CW.

        • This is true, but if you want to use this train of thought, add postage to what you have linked to and then provide the total delivered cost as a comparison. Short dated is <3 months expiry, so by definition of industry standard these items are not short dated, but as stated - we are clearing out the balance of our 2026 stock. Not wanting to get any members off side - but I always try to list the cheapest products, same for same anywhere in Australia - I still contend, this product cannot be found cheaper anywhere in Oz delivered - so by definition I think it has the right to be a deal, I can't control the votes, but I do run all my deals through a bit of an internal filter before posting (the first metric is - is this the cheapest in Oz)

If there is demand I can post 2027 variant of the same product as a later deal, but it will be a few dollars more. Medication supply in Australia is reasonable stable so most people would buy and consume, not buy and stockpile - unless of course this provides a huge saving such as our antihistamine deals, where massive savings can be made by buying 200-300x tabs.

  • Do you have Diclofinac in 25mg? Usually they are behind the counter and have to ask the chemist for them.

    • Yes we do sell - but we try not to sell any behind the counter items online as a call to the client to confirm a few things is required prior to shipping and when labour is now $65-90 per hour, and 1/2 the people either don't answer or want to chat about warts on their feet for 20 mins - its economic suicide to sell these behind the counter products online and make a phone call in order to complete every sale. We work on a model where we really need at least 100 sales per day for our online business to break even (and we work other jobs) - so calls just arent possible.

      • Ok. So in summary, not available for shipping.

        • If I don't provide a full and long explanation - haters will jump on me like an Ozbargainer at the Costco seafood cocktail sauce sample table and all start pummeling at once.

  • Cheaper elsewhere 30 x 25mg tablets for $8.99 where as equivalent OP’s would be 40 x 12.5mg for $11.99.

CWH is exactly 50 percent cheaper.

    • Delivered ?
Sold OTC without discussion with pharmacist ?

      No and No

      How is this neg fair?

    • Thanks for this info @EyyBanane. I called my local CWH and confirmed it. I might walk down there.

      • I'll take this as an opportunity to list an even better deal for the very hard to please crew on Sunday night - stay posted.

        • Why Sunday night? Offer something now and I will place the order to save me a walk :p

          • @aparasher: Thanks for taking it in good spirits (it was meant that way) - Reps can only post twice per week (unless their historic deals are really super), so I try to post twice weekly, my next allowable posting slot is Sunday night - and I really do always try to offer a bit of variety although I know Ozbargainers like a good hayfever relief deal which seems to be the large majority of successful deals for Ozbargainers. If you have any suggestions on deals pls PM me, happy to see if I can incorporate it into a future deal to benefit everyone.
