About Vietnam

Vietnam captivates visitors with its stunning landscapes, from the emerald waters of Ha Long Bay to the terraced rice fields of Sapa. This Southeast Asian gem offers an intoxicating blend of ancient traditions and modern dynamism, where French colonial architecture sits alongside traditional pagodas, and street food vendors serve up some of the world's most flavourful cuisine.

Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)

Vietnam's largest city pulses with energy 24/7. Explore the historic Cu Chi Tunnels, marvel at the Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica, and dive into the sensory overload of Ben Thanh Market. Don't miss the War Remnants Museum for a sobering look at Vietnam's history, or take a day trip to the Mekong Delta's floating markets.

Hanoi

The capital city offers a more traditional Vietnamese experience with its charming Old Quarter, where narrow streets are named after the goods once traded there. Visit the Temple of Literature, stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake, and catch a water puppet show. Hanoi serves as the perfect gateway to Ha Long Bay and the mountainous regions of northern Vietnam.

Vietnamese Food & Culture

Vietnamese cuisine is a symphony of fresh herbs, minimal oil, and incredible balance. Must-try dishes include:
- Pho - The iconic noodle soup, perfect for breakfast
- Banh Mi - French-Vietnamese fusion in a crispy baguette
- Bun Cha - Grilled pork with noodles, made famous by Obama's visit
- Fresh Spring Rolls - Healthy and refreshing
- Vietnamese Coffee - Strong, sweet, and often served over ice

The culture emphasizes respect, family values, and community. You'll find locals gathering in parks for morning tai chi, sipping coffee at sidewalk cafes, and celebrating numerous colourful festivals throughout the year.

I dont see why not. AI means to help us

      • AI is well known for errors. Setting aside the question of whether it's a good look for a business to use it, if they do use AI then it would be very wise for them to check for errors.

As Trance N Dance noted below, "Generous baggage allowance - typically 30kg for economy class" is not correct for Australia. In fact, on the Vietnam Airlines website there is no mention of 30kg anywhere - it's all based on multiples of 23kg or 32kg.

As Trance N Dance also noted, "Partner with Velocity Frequent Flyer - Velocity members can earn points on Vietnam Airlines flights" is also incorrect. This appears to be an AI hallucination as I can't see any evidence that this was ever possible, pre or post 2020 voluntary administration.

        Good catches by TND.
