  • You can choose the largest size of coffee

    • Exactly, and no additional charge for alternative milks.

      • Has this changed recently? I was always charged 50c for alt milk but haven't tried again since last year probably

        • I wasn’t charged for alt milk.
I’ve never “bought” a coffee from a metro cafe so no idea if they regularly charge extra usually.

  • Been running since 26 April 2023

    • Never thought to spend $30 at an overpriced metro store though.

      • My local Metro was clearing out 1ltr bottles of olive oil for $8. (BBD 2027) .

        Wasn’t hard to spend $30

  • Why not include the link to the page?

Voucher lasts 60 days, works at all WW Metro stores.

    • Not all, only the listed ones.

      • Sorry I meant to say the coffee vouchers are issued with $30 spend at any WW Metro, but you can only redeem those at Metros with cafes

        • Again, still not the case. Only applies to the Metros listed. I checked a recent receipt from a shop from when I dropped by the Carter St one in Sydney Olympic Park (which does serve coffee).

          • @Chadlynx: Yep can confirm, multiple shops at Metro Surry Hills well over $30, not a single time got a free coffee voucher, other than the 1 hour free parking,.

            • @dlovep: The vouchers should be on your rewards app. Did you check there?

          • @Chadlynx:

Spend at least $30 in a single transaction at any Woolworths Metro and scan your Everyday Rewards Card at checkout to collect 1 free hot beverage to redeem from a participating Woolworths Metro.

Vouchers are earned by meeting the spend requirement at any Metro (not just participating Metros).

I haven't experienced any issues with earning vouchers at non-listed stores, but if there are then that would be a system error that should be reported to Woolworths.

            I checked a recent receipt

I wouldn't rely on receipts. All vouchers should be listed in the Vouchers section of the Rewards app, including their expiry date.

          • @Chadlynx: I online chatted with Woolworths Rewards and the agent said that spending $30+ at any Metro store should qualify, not just participating stores.

Contact them if you do not receive a voucher within 24 hours.

    • The list of where you can redeem hasn't been updated in a very long time (if ever), so there may be a couple of listed locations that no longer have drink-making facilities (I think Eastlakes for example), while there are some newer stores that do have drink-making facilities and you can redeem even though they aren't listed.

  • Social protocol states when a friend is upset, you offer them a hot beverage, such as tea.

  • My local metro in Fortitude Valley is quite big and I never had problem with buying over $30 from there, also the coffee is not bad from there.

  • Looks like the Metro Cafe are closing:

Due to a change in trading conditions, our Metro cafes will be closing. The free hot beverage offer will end on Sunday, 21 June 2026, with vouchers redeemable until Friday, 21 August at participating Woolworths Metro stores.*

    • That sucks but thanks for posting.

  • I was just told by staff at Chatswood they will stop when they run out of coffee, possibly in 1-2 weeks

  • how to check participatin stores
