Yes gotta agree on that 100%

    • even voda better these days

    • Aren't towers betwwen telecoms shared already?

  • $5 per day on international roaming is a bit rich.

That’s very standard? Sometimes it’s $10, depending on the telco.

I'm with Optus, changing to AGL-Optus at this rate… not a bad idea…

if you go over your data limit we’ll automatically boost you with 1GB for $10.

    This BS should be banned.

I know people would come back with "butttt nanny state" unfortunately the average person is pretty thick - then realise half the population is worse!

I'm with you entirely. The government should require overage fees are capped at the contract $/gb rate. Or I suppose more in line with our laws, "at a reasonable penalty rate".

    • Absolutely!! it's not 2002 anymore, $10 for 1GB is insane.

I'd rather be cut off entirely..

  • Would this work in a 4G hotspot or do you need to be data only?

    • Don't see why not, as long as you keep the right APN settings and device not banned under stupid 3g shutdown

      • Not sure if you can adjust those settings whatever they are this is the device I’m getting https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0BPYPK2QC?ref_=pe_63343992_578…

        • Not sure sorry, but I don't see any reason other than above I mentioned that could be a problem.

But you wanna keep in mind that it's only 40 GB included, and it's very easy to over do the usage on hotspots. I personally would highly avoid it as you get stung a bit $10 for next 1gb above 40gb

          • @USER DC: Thanks that’s a good tip. I don’t know that I would’ve noticed that. Just need to find a cheap prepaid one that stops once you hit the limit.

  • How long does it take to deliver the SIM card ?

    • Not sure, but I think they say on chat/phone that Sim expires 30 days after ordering if not activated.

  • Hi OP, any data banking for this plan? Thank you.

    • Don't think so unfortunately as it's post paid service

  • No AGL in Darwin. That's a great price. Most of the promo delas are over $12.

The cheapest deal is onepass mobile for $149 with 200GB day on a 12 month recharge. Still looking at $12.42 per month

FYI. If you are with AGL mobile, transfer from physical sim to eSIM, they charge 10 dollars. Vice Versa. Just get charged 2 days ago.

  • Can I do something if I’m already on AGL Mobile?

Looking to move away from Felix if there’s a good deal, the reception on coda sucks the bawlz of the devils 3rd cousin

    • Felix is only $20 with each new 50% signup and has UNLIMITED INTERNET too.

It's not comparable with this AGL plan that's Max 160 GB data for $40 a month with AGL energy, or
Only 40GB for $9 with this deal.

A big difference in unlimited internet and limited internet, but ofc if Vodafone network sucks near you then cannot do much than try like Optus/Telstra network

      • Its $40 a month. $20 for new users only and for 3 month only

        • not hard to do referral signup every 3 month or so each time

  • what I dont like is it is a "post paid" service. It will check my credit score.
Also given its limited data allowance, I think it is hardly to control your spend just within that monthly plan fee.

    • Thanks for the heads up. Not a fan of post paid.
