Bought the Casio W218H, thanks OP. It looks great in the videos I've seen.

In this economy? Casio prices have gotten out of hand. Skmei are the real bargain.

Looking forward to your Skmei post. My favourite is the 1628.

I got a blue 1628 recently but I'm a bit disappointed because it looked brighter in they photo. In real life the colour looks a bit dull and desaturated. Should've stuck with black.

The 2126 with the black bezel is my current favourite. An DW-291H knockoff. Somehow got it for $4.27+

For anyone interested the cheapest way to buy a black Skmei 1628 positive display is in the Aliexpress Bundle Deals, price is currently US$3.99 + GST.

I noticed the 2126 is US$3.19 + GST on the Bundles page.

@WatchNerd: Sweet find! I picked up a 2506 (US$4.09 in blue) and a 1123 (US$6.92 in gold) plus a couple carrying cases to hold my ever growing collection

    • Skmei? That is temu Casio, get the original

      • I agree. Casio is the real deal, an iconic, quality and affordable brand. Fk this Temu shite

        • +1

Skmei was around long before Temu.

I have heaps of Casio watches and quite a few Skmei (and Sanda, and other Chinese brands) as well. I'm pretty much satisfied with all of them. Skmei makes some very cool watches at amazing prices

  • Expired..

Prices seemed ok for basic casios but not many deals these days. Prices have gone up somewhat since 2022. No doubt reliable pieces though, which should last a lifetime.

  • @WatchNerd the steeldive watches are still the best spec for value watches right?

    • I think so, if you don't care about brand names.

  • I bought a cheap Casio to wear in the Derrimut sauna, didn't want to wear Apple Watch in there. But then the gym closed and I don't really have a use for it except as a spare if my Apple Watches get stolen or something.

    • Or go flat..
Not sure they are cheaper overall but like the idea of one watch.

      • If the Apple Watches die I buy a new one. The health metrics it gives is better every year. Sleep tracking is finally getting more accurate. It's nice to have it tell me my resting and walking heart rate is lower after I start going to gym again after months of being a fat lazy pig.

        • Yeah pretty good overall as is Garmin and other equivalents.

Fitbit is pretty good for health tracking, just wear to bed these days. Would be disappointing as an only watch by minimal enough to wear on other wrist.
Sleep tracking.. easy to know if doing many steps or not.
