Was at Majura Park K-Mart BIG W the other day and found their whole Easter stock heavily reduced. Best price per 100g is the 250g Easter bunnies for $3.75.

They overpriced them at Easter - didn't sell.
They overpriced them on 'sale' after Easter - still not selling.
There are still crates and crates of eggs, bunnies, etc.
You would have thought they would have realised by now, a fortnight later, that for clearance stock they are going to have be less than 1c per gram - that people have got wise to the gouging.

I got the same from Coles at around 50c-67c per 100g last week so maybe keep an eye out for a further reduction.

Cadbury Icon Bunny 150gm was $1.00 on the Tuesday after Easter (later $0.50 the Sat after Easter but all other Easter chocolates at my local Coles (Middle Camberwell, VIC) was sold out))
Red Tulip 200gm was $1.00 on the Tuesday after Easter
Crunchie Bunny 170gm was $1.00 on the Tuesday after EasterDue date was on average to be June/July 2026.

Brought like 10 Lindt bunnies and a few packs of eggs
You got lucky. I went into my local (which I admit is not the largest around) to get those Lindt bunnies but I could only see the Cadbury type. Ended up getting $17 worth of chocolate that first night though and only stopped as my bag was full. :-)
Yea I’ve been to a couple Cole’s near work and their stuff is still about $3 a bunny/pack

This is still pretty regular Cadbury block sale price - and the chocolate in Easter stuff is usually worse.
Cadbury is all about high sugar and less chocolate.
It's a real shame because I actually really like their specific milk chocolate flavour.

Why the negs? Hands up if you actually prefer today's Cadbury over Lindt or Whittakers? It's gone to shit since the recipe changes (Americanised with less cocoa and more sugar) a few years back.
Sure if it's an amazing deal you could take a punt and force it down, but $3.75/250g isn't a "buy" for me…

I was at the Big W store in Belmont WA yesterday and they also have a heap of stock left over as well at the same prices as this post. They also had Lindt bunnies and Cadbury boxed chocolates like Oreo, Caramello, Sour Patch kids and the hunting eggs.
Nothing special about the price, thats what it should cost to start with given their reduced sizes and cocoa butter content

Last week the Coles near us had all their Easter stock at 49c. This included the box of Daryl Lea speckled eggs which were originally about $20.
I was going to post but the vultures were already swooping, including me.

cadbury is so bad now, i used to love it but the flavour has gone downhill
