Perth to Istanbul in September - Buy Now or Wait?

Partner and I are planning to travel to Europe in September. We are flying out of Perth hopefully on the 13th to 15th of September

I had an eye on the Air Asia flight (through KL) to Istanbul. Google flight had the price at ~$500 a couple months ago. It is currently around $818, which is still the cheapest flight to Europe by about ~$200.

I am wondering if I should wait for the price to go down again over the next 2 months or bite the bullet and purchase now.

We are not fussed where we fly into, just looking for a cheap flight and that is currently Istanbul by far.

Definitely buy the tickets before September. Airlines no longer allow you to buy tickets after you’ve traveled with them.

Tickets usually get more expensive closer to the date so buy now.

There are definitely cheaper tickets to Europe in September, e.g. Vienna. But via the Gulf states. If the war is still going then, you won't be able to afford the fuel surcharges.

    Buy Now or Wait?

    Wait for what?

    • Trump

  • What’s your non ghost account?

    • Constantinople

  • Put the savings towards a hair transplant?

  • Definitely wait, I hear there's a 50% off sale in early July.
