Only when on special though and not Aussie made (made in Poland)

Colgate has SLS which makes the mucus membrane in my mouth disintergrate (oral mucosal sloughing)

What is SLS?

A Mercedes

What's the normal price?

$5.99, so no real saving…

But it is a bargain

No it's not.

@jv: This is oz bargain not oz on special
My neighbour's kid sells lemons for 10c and its a bargain (his normal price)

Semi related only, but anyone found that the Aldi dental floss to be too thick ?

I only use one type of oral b for this reason. Everything else gets stuck.

Yessss !! Love the oral B one

Yes feels like it's going to rip off your fillings/ crowns, but suppose it depends on the gaps (if any) between your teeth.

For real ! I bought a couple of them… Will try to offload on fam

Is this on par vs Sensodyne the repair variant?

Repair and protect?
No, repair and protect has Novamin which is meant to "repair" teeth. This dentitix one has potassium nitrate (standard ingredient in sensitive toothpaste) and basically just numbs the pain from sensitivity

Great info thanks, will stay with Repair and protect

I was just wondering that. If had any of the calcification barrier type of stuff that's in Colgate Proargin or Sensodyne Novamin

More fluid compared to others - doesn’t stay on toothbrush.

Does this keep your breath smelling fresh? I use Colgate Optic white and my fresh breath barely last 30mins

try Grant's mint toothpaste, it has mint and baking soda as well that reduces bad breath bacteria

hrmm, will baking soda be bad for my teeth?

if teeth are sensitive already then don't use, otherwise it is fine if pea sized blob is used with an ultra soft toothbrush for a minute or so of brushing.

Always thought toothpaste was mainly chalk or a form of it anyway.

Titanium dioxyde…

Around 100 toothpastes on the market, with around 20 recommended by the ADA (Australian Dental Association) where we found Coles own brand $1.50 tube. Made in China. Never had cleaner whiter teeth.

Interesting. Can you link to the ADA list/study?

Dentitex Advanced Whitening Toothpaste 200g is $2.09 at ALDI. Made in Australia. Isn't that good enough for most people?. I use it myself at the moment.
