I have not seen anything cheaper than this..Found this on http://www.msy.com.au/ Anyway I am not going to buy this, just can't afford it. It Says it only for one day.. but can expect this again in next couple of weeks. That's business logic..

I have actually seen something cheaper than $375 but I don't know where damn it! (Title has been edited since this post)

  • Officeworks price match?

  • Fail.

    • How can this be a fail? It's business logic…

  • Sorry Porthos,,

I am not an expert in posting ads.. pl tolerate me. thanks

ok hands up how many of you wanted to post same reply as the early ones but were beaten to it

    • Gotta be fast on here.. like a bargain hunting ninja.

Still at around $305 delivered from B&H Photo Video at the moment (although the site now shows "limited supply" and will ship in 7-14 days).

    • I just bought this one last week, much better deal

  • The 512Gb 830 for $380 is probably a better buy:

    • Is the 830 better than 840?

      • -1

Yes. 840 Pro is better than the 830, but not by much.

I think Bruce is trying to imply that

          840 Pro > 830 > 840

        • I can't see how my comment says anything else. 830 is only slightly below the 840 Pro. 840 is a step down from both of them.

        • 840 Pro ( MLC Nand ) 3000 P/E cycles
          830 MLC Nand 3000 P/E cycles
          840 TLC 1000 P/E cycles

        • @_ Bruce_ yes I know what you meant. Just that this deal is about 840 not the pro version so I thought @wildstone was asking for the comparison between 840 (non-pro) and 830.

        • Is the 830 better than 840?

          Yes.
          .
          ..

840 Pro is better than the 830, but not by much.

          Edited for clarity.

        • Hi scotty, thanks for the clarification. Yeah I was asking about 830 vs 840. Cheers.

As mentioned above this Samsung 830 deal is much more competitive.

I had my first ever MSY experience yesterday, it was not pleasant and I probably wont bother going back.
