My Superdry tshirts collar has lost shape. Expected more for the price they normally charge. Avoid and get uniqlo U instead

      Walking ad?

The cotton is actually really smooth and the logo is pretty small on mine. Just wish it lasted longer. There's an excellent video on YouTube that explains the difference in quality in cheap and expensive cotton garments

See, I am the opposite. My Superdry shirt collars last much longer than all my other shirts…

      • I have a cheap t shirt from 2001. It still looks amazing. The Superdry shirt is only a few years old and I even put it in a laundry bag when washing it

I want billboard "superdry" on my back and shoulders as well. The superdry billboard on the chest is too tiny to read and wont get enough attention

  • I recently switched to the Hugo boss multipack shirts and they've been great, just be sure to size up.

Having said that i do like the superdry shirts.

Besides Top cashback having a 7% cashback, There is also a 7% with Amex (Save to card) or a 5% for NAB goodies (Which didn't have to activate on my account)

That works out as $6.36 cashback from top cashback and $7 from Amex or $5 from NAB. So upto $13.36 cashback (Cashback sites typically exclude GST, cards cannot tell as easily).

    • thanks!

    • Top Cashback just declined my cashback for this deal. I wish they gave a reason

  • AS Colour are sub $30 each on special, how do these compare in quality & weight?

    • +1

they are 2 sizes smaller for the same size

    • +2

AS quality went downhill majorly tho right?

      • Couldn't say, have only been wearing them regularly for a year or so & am happy with the quality.

  • my shirts collection nowadays are discounted uniqlo $9.90 or from temu/aliexpress $12

Temu / aliexpress link? Just want to check and try.
Bought some heavyweight cotton tees from kmart and was disappointed after few washes on how the crew neck lost shape.

AliExpress Dukeen is good , saw them in comments here , 280gsm and decent quality , I wouldn’t call them shirts to wear out and about , but good quality though

I hope they Super Dry for that price …. I hate wet shirts

  • +1

decent price per item but shocking quality, they are thin and easily fade and lose shapes after a couple of washes

  • +2

quality has gone downhill it is not wort buying if you want to wear them more than 10 times prob 5 really from recent experience

Superdry T-shirt sizing is also the most idiotic out there. I have t-shirts that vary in size from M to XL. Once get the right size the fit is great, but quality has gone to shit they dont last. Have not found a good alternative either.

    • industrie delsur are good for $33 bucks each
      thick and proper sizes

      • Thanks Wiadro, will give them a go!!

I just stopped by David Jones to try a couple on. I tried XL and XXL (different styles), and they were the exact same size.

      • The shirts are all going back. I ordered XXL before the DJs visit based on the measurements on their website, when I'm normally XL. Three are too large and one fits perfectly, but the white parts of the print are all cracked, which isn't in the images: https://superdry.com.au/products/outdoors-graphic-tee-black

Edit: strangely the white shirt version with black print does show cracks in the images

    • I have lot of SD tshirts all in the same size but some are smaller than others even in the same color. I like the fabric of the basic tshirts though, thick and soft.

  • Just get target heavy fabric Ts for ten bucks when on clearance

    • +1 for this. Tried the Kmart oversise heavy blanks and they are great for the price.

  • Yeah not great quality - Rodd & gunn is my go to now

    • Rodd & Gunn polos were shit 7-8 years ago. Are they better now?

      • +1

Not sure about 7-8 years ago. I am referring mainly to their t-shirts, but I do have a few of their polos and no real complaints.

The t-shirts are definitely better quality than the superdry ones.

  • Was tempted to buy SD until I read the comments. Needed a tee for casual wear and thought this is a steal

    • Levi’s makes decent tees and shirts.

  • Ugh, I ordered then read the comments. I'm a L everywhere else, I assume these won't fit then & will be poor quality 😕

    • For the price, it isn't that bad though

    • I kept one of mine and was able to easily return the other 3 in person to a store. I got it refunded to a different card, so I still keep my $5 back from NAB. I'm happy with the quality, and it fits me really well, but it's labeled XXL while a slim fit business shirt that I just got from H&M is labelled L and has the same fit.

The three I returned were also XXL, but were larger. XL in those styles would have fit. They were all listed as being the same fit style and measurements as the one above, so who knows what you'll end up actually getting. It's a shot in the dark really.

      • Yeah, I returned all of mine as well, the L was way to small. I re-ordered the XXL instead. As someone thats normally an M to an L their sizing it wayyyyy off.
